worked like a charm on my 7500 watt generator

Great extension, heavy duty, no flaws, if I had to write about a con I'd say the oily residue on the connections was annoying. Works perfect for my camper extension with an additional 4pin male to 3 prong female 30amp adapter. Original purchase was to line my home for power outages. I was using (due to purchase in mid blackout) 30 amp generator - 30 to 20 amp fuse adapter - 20 amp cable - 20 amp 4pin male adapter on a 3 prong dryer cable. I grabbed this to replace to fuse/adapter, 20 amp cable, and 20 amp adapter (replaced by l14-30p). With 20 amps I had to power off my hot water heater, run the fridge to a 15amp 120v outlet on the generator, and then 20 amps into the stove outlet to power the rest of the house. With the 30amp gear I ran 100% of the house with all attached to the single stove outlet. Next item on the list, a 30 amp box on the exterior.

Great cord for hooking generator up to the house.

This is a great quality cord. I bought this cord to hook my generator up to my transfer switch in my home. In Oklahoma we have a lot of severe weather. Depending on the seasons its tornados, high winds or ice storms. Power could go out for days at a time and it is almost necessary to have a back up power supply. It works great. The locking tab holds real well and doesn't appear that it will vibrate loose real easy. There is not a whole lot I can say about this cord other than if you are looking for a good cord at a good price, this is it.

What an AMAZING VALUE!

I'd made a cord to use (with safe, appropriate cord caps (ends) when I first picked up our generator because the ready-made cords were sold out. It cost me about $45 just for the cord caps and another $1.50 per foot for the wire. Have you ever tried winding/unwinding solid #10 wire? It lays about as flat as a huge coil spring. It got me through the blackout, but I swore up and down to up-grade A.S.A.P. !! This cord by Conntek is above top quality, and as a long time contractor, I'm not easily impressed. I couldn't have been more pleased. I now have the flexibility of a 40 foot cord at what it cost me to make a 25 footer. Oh, and I "LIKE" this one !!!

Great cord, especially for the price

I bought this for my Champion 7500W (9375W surge) portable generator. I have an interlock kit installed on my electrical panel, so all I need to do is plug the generator in to the inlet box on the back of my house, and my entire house can be powered, within reason. This cord worked great during the test run, and I'm sure it will work when I need it during a real power outage. For the price, you can't beat this cord. If you buy one at a hardware store, you'll pay the same price for only 25 feet.

Buy it its worth it

Wow great investment works very well and keeps my generator away from the house. Would recommend it to anyone who has a transfer switch and wants to keep noise level down by putting distance between house and generator. Great value at almost half the price of local dealers and seems to be good quality material .

Great generator transfer

This is used to connect the generator to the house through a transfer panel. Both plugs seem robust and it handled the power demands without warming up. I haven’t used it in the winter months yet, but it seems to be quite flexible down to 5 degrees Celsius.

Price was right.

Looks like it’ll be a great product. Wondering why it took a week just to ship it from the purchase date? Was also very disappointed that it was yellow when it was clearly red during the prep for shipping and shipping period.
