I’d pick this hose before my bros.

When I first opened it, I thought it was a very long, very green snake. Thankfully, it wasn’t. It was just my hose! And oh, the things this hose can do. You can tie people up with it. You can wear it as a very large, very heavy crown. You can pretend it’s your pet snake and scare your neighbor Bob (sorry Bob). It’s not great for hula-hooping, but I might have just been doing it wrong. Oh, and wait until you unroll it! I used it as a jump rope. A very long straw. A pet snake you can hide in your neighbor’s lawn (sorry again, Bob). Honestly, this is the best thing I’ve ever bought. Hours of entertainment from just one hose! I haven’t figured out how to get water inside of it yet, but Bob says you have to hook it up to some sort of water source, so I might try that next.

don't buy this, it's junk.

This is incredibly stiff. It's permanently fixed in the circular loops. Even when I bent it out, it curled back immediately. I have never had a hose do this before. I'm temp on crutches, so I'm not going to pack it up and go to the post office to return it, I'm just throwing it out and losing the $26 it cost. I thought Amazon Basics products were at least adequate quality, but not this one.

Buyer beware! Aluminum female fitting corrodes badly.

I purchased this hose at the start of the summer season and attached it to the spigot at the back of my house where it remained all summer. At the end of the season I tried to remove the hose from the spigot but could not. I could see that it had corroded badly and was now permanently attached to the spigot. I tried using heat, WD-40 and a wrench but it wouldn't budge. I was concerned that I might damage the spigot if I wrenched on it too hard. Finally I used a hacksaw to split the female coupling and a screwdriver to spread the coupling which then released it from the spigot. I've lived in this house for 30 years and never had a hose do this before. The hose is described as having a Brass male end but nowhere does it say what the female end is made of. It appears the female end is made of aluminum (colored to look like brass) and I can only assume that the aluminum coupling reacted with the metal of my spigot which effectively welded it to the spigot. I have replaced the female end with a true brass coupling so it won't happen again. I would not recommend this hose to anyone.

Good Product

We've used the hose often for about 3 months. It works well. The fittings at the ends of the hose are of good quality. My only complaint is that the hose kinks too easily as we stretch it out and around yard items: chairs, grill, gardens, etc. Easy to unkink but shouldn't be necessary.
