Amazing for astrophotography
Before this I used a red light flashlight, but this is a far superior option. The red light does an even better job at retaining my dark vision while allowing me a light to read by and if I happen to drop something and can't find it then it's super easy to switch to the regular light and find it no problem.

Possibility to easy switch between white and red light- excellent features for sport pilots
It is not easy to find a headlamp for sports pilots with easy switching between white and red modes. This one is good for the night cockpit. Each mode has its own button. No extra modes. Excellent choice for any person that needs a work headlight with red/white modes. It leaves the operator's hands and heads free for work itself.

Great for Astrophotography
Primarily use this headlamp to retain my night vision for astrophotography. The headset's red lamp button is easy access, batteries last a long time and the area illuminated is adjustable.

Nice headlamp for night photography
I'm glad to have gotten the dimmer 145 lumen model. The single red led is perfect to check camera settings for night astro photography. Any brighter would have been too bright for my needs. That being said, the white light is 5 leds and quite bright to find your way around without tripping. Great to have white and red on same unit. The tilt works well and stays adjusted.

Perfect for night photography
I have other headlamps. One feels like a giant rubber band on my head, the other has too many settings and no red light. This one is simple and very comfortable. One button on off for white light, another for red light and it xan be aimed.
