Genuinely surprised
I do not normally leave reviews for items let alone so soon after getting it but I have to say I was quite surprised with the quality of this headlamp. Most headlamps are cheap plastic crap that do not stand the test of time and often when buying such cheap electronics they are very outdated in design. I bought this based on the reviews so I didnt look too into whats in the box so I was surprised to not only find it uses USB-C but the charging cable comes with both a USB-C and USB-A for the power feeding end which means it is compatible with most charging adaptors or even just plugging it into the PC to charge. It also came with both a rubber and elastic headband which is nice. The best part however is the design of the lamp itself. It is metal and water resistant. The charging plug even has a metal cap that screws over it versus some cheap little rubber insert you'd normally find. The bulb and glass itself is recessed into the metal casing so it would be pretty difficult to break it through direct hit or fall. Also it comes with a removeable battery so you can replace it when it inevitably hits its lifespan and this especially you do not find in electronics these days. The light function itself is pretty bright and adjustable in width as well as having 3 brightness settings. This is a great purchase!

Coast delivers again: Great deisgn, tough and very useful!
This headlamp is a great design: Bright and durable with an adjustable beam width and highly water resistant. The aluminum tube that comprises the body of the light is ultra durable if slightly heavy. The lithium battery and recharging system are really innovative and simple to use with a charging monitor built in. The head strap/base was comfortable for me to wear for several hours without a pressure spot. So many top of the line headlamps are just not very durable being mainly plastic. The magnetic base is a nice touch, allowing it to be attached to any steel surface such as a car fender. This headlamp should last me many, many years!

Best headlamp I found and worth every penny.
I was skeptical by the size of this caplap but I was very surprised by its performance. Plenty of lighting power in the darkest area and even outdoors. The caplamp is light weight, I wear my lamp for a 12 hour plus shift with no neck strain or pain, not constantly have to adjust my hardhat. You can easily adjust the lamp and find the on and off button with work gloves on. The battery last on average a month before having to recharge the battery (15 work days.. 8 night shifts and 7 day shifts). My suggestion, order a second battery to use while charging the dead battery. If your a professional this caplamp is as essential as a screwdriver or channelocks in your tool bag.

Big upgrade from the basic consumer models.
I don’t write reviews when I first buy a product. I’ve had this headlamp for a little over a year I reckon. It performs every time I need it to! There’s a few reasons, but not least of which is that I can charge it anywhere with the usb-c. Also, I didn’t realize that the battery can be charged via usb-c directly (there’s a charging port in the battery). Compared to headlamps with standard batteries that always seemed to be dead when I needed it most. I do wish it had a red light as well, however, you cannot beat the simplicity of this headlamp. I misplaced the rubber strap, but lately I’ve been using it on my petzl vertex helmet. The retention clips on the helmet make it ideal for wearing on various jobs and also tends to encourage me to wear it more often. I actually prefer using it with the petzl vertex in crawl spaces and attics… no more nails or bumps from crawling around. It’s also very easy to pop out of the mount for charging, but not so easy that I’ve ever knocked it loose working. I am happy with it for the price! Not quite as good as the petzl pro products, but for a quarter of the price I won’t shudder if I lose it! Definitely recommend!

Great headlamp!
As an aircraft mechanic this is the second most used tool in my arsenal. This has been the best headlamp I have ever bought in the sense of lasting hours upon hours at a workable- bright light. The headband is great for larger heads and it’s not heavy at all, once it’s on for a few hours you don’t even notice it! Great touch of USBC for charging instead of micro USB!

super bright, sturdy light
Super bright with a great focusing lens. Recharges nicely with USB C. Seems very sturdy and is holding up to some heavy use so far. Fantastically bright light perfect for work. This should be in every toolbox. 2 negatives for this light... dimmest setting is far brighter than needed for hiking or cross country skiing, and the light is pretty heavy... The way it sits on your head it's very noticeable that it's there.

Excellent headlight
I love this item. It lasts the whole day and three light is perfect for the work area. The weight is perfect to comfortable wear it all day. Definitely recommend it although would definitely wish it were a bit less pricey

I LOVE this headlamp
I cannot say enough about how much I love this headlamp. It is solidly-made and I do not find the weight of it to be a problem. I love the fact that it has different brightness settings which can be cycled through very easily with the touch of a button but more importantly, for me, it has the capability-- much like a Maglite-- of being used as either a spotlight or a floodlight with a quick twist. It all that isn't enough, the magnet and adjustable positioning allow you to put a hands-free light anywhere you want it if, for some reason, you don't want it on your forehead. Buy this light, you absolutely will not be disappointed! I'd give it ten stars if I could!

One downside but an amazing headlight
As an electrician a headlight is essential to me. I’ve had coast brand lights for many years and this is going to be my 4th now (none of them have died, I’ve just upgraded). This is a fantastic headlight. Comes with 2 straps, one normal elastic and one slightly sticky rubber band. Having that rubber band strap with the 4 clips make this extremely solid and sturdy and does not move around on my hard hat. Amazing build quality with a very smart design. Being able to remove the light as magnetically attach it around you is brilliant. Rechargeable and tactile easy to press button make this perfect. Because the build quality is so good and is made out of aluminum, it is heavier than most headlamps. It is also just one unit and not counter balanced by a rear battery pack so it is all front heavy.

Bright, sturdy, easy controls and long battery life
While a bit pricey for a simple headlight, you get what you pay for. Battery last a long time. Cant really tell how long because with occasional use it has been like three months. I love how sturdy this thing is. The USB charge connector is cleverly hidden behind a solid screw cap instead of a floppy rubber cover. The controls are fairly intuitive. Best of all, once it is on for a few seconds, it will turn off at the next button push. No need to cycle through different settings to turn it off. The ability to change the focus is handy for different usages. Recommended? well, I'm going to buy another one!

Lange nicht so eine frustrierende Verpackung erlebt!
Ich bin ehrlich, ich hab die Lampe nicht einmal probieren können. Ich war viel zu genervt davon, sie aus ihrer blöden Plastikverpackung heraus zu bekommen. Oder eben auch nicht! Keine Ahnung, was sie dafür angerührt haben, aber Amazons „frustfreie Verpackungen“ hat der Hersteller noch nie gesehen! Das ganze ging total zerfetzt und immernoch eingepackt retour. Lange nicht so ein Unpackaging gehabt - ich hätte nen Video davon machen sollen. Schade, andere haben die Lampe ja ausgepackt bekommen und sind zufrieden. ????‍♂️

Power button is a bit too sensitive for my kit
Had a few times where I pulled this headlight out of my bag only to find a dead battery, more likely than not it was simply switched on in my pack however having a bit more force required to turn of the lamp would likely serve me better, that or a disable switch. Otherwise great headlamp, best I ever used, I have joked with our stage lighting department that if the power goes out during a show we can just have a few of us wearing our headlamps, looking at the stage and it would be the same as our stage wash lights.

Bright easy to use
This is a solid headlamp that is super bright and easy to use. It functioned properly immediately out of the box. The head strap is easy to install and comfortable to wear. The light is bright and has different brightness levels that are easy to move through. It seems to be waterproof and has been perfect on my camping trips so far. This is a solid buy for a headlamp
