These are quality hand quilting needles.
These needles are quality quilting needles. I have found most everything I have ever purchased from Clover to be of good quality. If you love to hand quilt, I think you will find these needles are great for fine, even stitching for hand quilting.

Very smooth sewing, but needles break easily
I love how smoothly these needles slip through layers of quilting. I found they tend to break easily (though they stay straight until they snap), and they're less easy for me to thread by hand than other brands' size 10 betweeens.

Best Needles for Hand Quilting
I piece by machine but I always hand quilt and this gold-eyed needle is the best on the market. It’s a little hard to find though, so I often purchase more than one package at a time. The needles are slim but strong, and the gold eye makes it easier to see for threading. I recently discovered this source and had no idea the store was based in the UK but it was fun getting Royal Mail in California. I have ordered twice, and the average wait is two weeks. Well worth it, imho.

Good Eye
I keep purchasing Clover because the eye of the needles are able to be threaded with a needle threader. Hard to find this quality in other brands.

The eye is too small for quilting thread.
It is not possible to thread with quilting thread.

Perfect for hand quilting.
I love the size of these needles. I find them just right for hand quilting, especially when using a 100 wt thread. My only complaint would be the eye could be a smidgeon bigger. A needle thread will not fit through the eye, and sometimes I have difficulty threading the needle, even with 100 wt thread.
