Helped my short game
I spend my winters in Florida and have had trouble with short chips to the green. The fairways have very tight lies but the grass around the green is lush because of the irrigation. Frequently, when you try to putt onto the green (which is very common here), the ball will get caught in the trick grass and you'll end up short. This chipper has made it easier to drive through that grass and has helped my short game a lot. I like it so much that I bought a second one to use up North for the summer.

Took a while to get comfortable
It seems to have a very heavy head. Took a month or so to get used to it and control distance. I wish it had another couple degrees of loft. But it’s very effective at eliminating the complete mishits.

This Club Works
Ok, I literally just finished 9 holes and used this club for the first time today. I was so impressed, I had to write a review. I'm in my 50s, was a pretty good golfer in my late 20s and early 30s (generally shot in the high 80s-low 90s over 18) but due to work and family commitments really did not play over the past 15 years. Well, COVID hit and I decided to get back into golfing. Since mid June I've been playing 2-3 times per week- usually nine holes, sometimes 18. Needless to say, my game was pretty rough. My iron play came back ok, was struggling off the tee, putting ok and all over the place with my short game. Started watching a lot of online videos. Found Rick Shiels and Mr. Short Game most helpful of all the online folks out there. Mr. Short Game is really entertaining and helped my drives and pitching A LOT. Was still struggling with those closer in chips though. I mean REALLY struggling- just have not been able to get the feel for them. My 60 degree wedge would pop straight up or line drive over the green. One day Mr Short Game does a video on a pine wedge chipper. He just seemed to be having a fun time playing with it and I decided I would go on Amazon and look it up. The club he used looked more like a putter. I liked the look of this one better and ordered it. I really just got it to have some fun in the back yard and fool around with my main golf partner. I still planned on getting my 60 wedge going. Like I said, I just played nine holes and used this club on 5 of them. There was no one behind me on the course so I placed a ball next to each one I needed to chip and tried this club and the 60. I had one really nice chip with the 60, the other 4 were disappointing and would have cost me an extra stroke. Keep in mind, I never practiced with this club. All I knew is you swing it like a putter. All five tries, from rough, from the approach to the green, from 15-30 feet out, I put the ball inside 3 feet of the hole. I still plan to work on my chips and am determined to get them right using my 60 wedge, but for less than $50, this club brought a smile to my face and made the round much more enjoyable. Frankly, my chipping has been so inconsistent and generally bad of late, it was making me overlook the fact that the rest of my game has been steadily improving. The club looks good, feels good and works. Get this club- you WILL enjoy it!

A great chipper!
Swing like it’s a putter. Very accurate close to the green. Once I learned how to swing it, I consistently chip closer to the hole. If you have problems around the green this club will improve your game.

Useful around greens
I really like this chipper, although it took a while to get used to it. Initially I tended to blade it over the green, but with practice I hit it pretty well. I was fairly good with a 9 iron along the greens, but I get a little closer with this club. My wife hits it really well so I’ll probably give it to her. We’ll worth the price!

The "MAGIC" Chipper Club (UPDATE 12-19-2018 - Review still true)
WOW Guys, This chipper is absolutely fantastic and once you dial it in (which was easy for me) you should be able to reduce the amount of putts it take you to GET to the green and the number of putts necessary to sink the putt. As more people buy and review this chipper, I suspect the price will go up so you probably should consider purchasing it now; my wife just bought one after testing mine on (12/9/2018). After working with this chipper, I discover that it allows me to create three club placement positions depending on the type of shot I want to create. I don't believe it was created with that in mind but it sure is a marketing bonus for the manufacturer. Now check this out: 1. If you lean the handle forward you will create a putter face and when you strike the ball with a putter stroke the ball simply rolls which is helpful if you want to putt through the fringe. 2. If you place the chipper on its foot/sole square and use a putting stroke, the ball jumps which is helpful for jumping over the fairway rough and fringe to the green. 3. If you lean the club backwards (open I suppose for righty), drop your shoulder and swing up into the ball, will give you quick loft which is helpful when you are below an elevated green. 4 maybe. I haven't tried this yet but in a couple weeks as I suspect it will get warmer in my neck of the woods, I plan to use position "3" in the sand and see how it plays in the sand. _______________________________________________________________________ OK, bullet point 3 in the sand DOES NOT WORK! However the above review still holds true - this is a great chipper! OH I ALMOST FORGOT ONE HUGE ADVANTAGE! Some people said "Just use your 7 or 8 iron and save your money". With this chipper which is a cross between an iron and a hybrid in my opinion is that the foot/sole of the club is a bit wider than a 7 or 8 iron which helps to maintain its angle during putt/stroke through. THIS IS HUGE!

Chipper
37degree chipper works OK on course but no high enough to miss sand traps.

Short game chippper
Good quality, balanced club. Would help if some simple advice on best use. Otherwise a matter of a trial and error period inevitable.

Stable club head sweet spot
We’ll distributed head weight broadens the sweet spot giving stability to the club strike. Good addition to the bag increases chipping accuracy inside 100 yds.
