Great Skates!

These skates fit extremely well and transformed me back to my youth!! If I was to suggest anything, get a real skate key, the crappy key that came with them instantly went into the trash!

Cute & Comfortable

I love these skates! They fit great and do not hurt my feet. The break unscrewed on me and I had to reattach and tighten it.

Good skate however there are some issues

The media could not be loaded. I don’t have very much experience with skates, But what I can say about the skates is that they are fairly good quality. No there are some downsides to this skate. The very first day I had to loosen the wheels because they just didn’t Roll all the way around. Then when I went out to skate the first thing to go was the toaster on my left skate, it came right off after about 30 minutes of riding. Then the back trucks of the same boat loosened and completely came off. To the point where I had to have somebody else screw them back on because they were so loose. Overall I would say this is a good skate especially for the price point you just have to put a lot of work into them I just bought myself a pair of new wheels. Also planning on getting a new tow stop along with bearings.

beginner skater- very pleased

I am a beginner skater, so I basically know nothing. And I just got these. But I did a moderate amount of research before I bought these and I am very pleased so far. The boot looks sturdy and is comfortable. I got the right size using the sizing guide and other buyers feedback. (I wear a size 7 and 1/2 in shoes and went with the size seven, they fit perfectly.) I loosened the trucks (is that what they're called?) and skated around my kitchen a bit and they feel really great. I am very very pleased. I expect based on other reviews to need to buy outdoor wheels before I will be able to use them outside. But for this price I am super ok with that. They came very fast and with no problems. I'm very happy.

Kind of high in price if you ask me

Got for my daughter the tool to take off wheel is useless. I think she like the skates

Great BEGINNER quad skates !

These skates are great for people who are JUST LEARNING how to even roll and do a few tricks that are beginning to learn how to skate. They ride so smooth inside but once I step outside it’s a little bumpy and i find that the wheels they come with get stuck on rocks, cracks and bumps on pavement. It says it’s an indoor/outdoor skate but I’d say it’s more so for indoor. Another thing which is a safety hazard is that one of my toe stops came loose on me while I was outside on a trail, and didn’t even notice until someone who saw me skating found it and gave it back to me. The tongue of the skate moves and shifts to the inside of the boot so there isn’t really much support there. Other than that I think Chicago skates are great for beginner beginner indoor skating. They get the job done for outdoor but not as safe nor as durable as other skates !

Ran big

The skates are beautiful and great quality, but they run big. I wear a ladies size 6½ and ordered a 7 to fit cushioned socks and these were huge on me! I almost think that even the women's skates come in men's sizes but I'm not sure. I think I'll try ordering the size that I wear in kids sneakers which would be a 5 and see how that works, but definitely size down.
