Champion Traps and Targets Passive Ear Muffs

I purchased these for range shooting. The muffs are very comfortable, and noise reduction is more than sufficient. The first time I used them was in a booth next to someone shooting a 12-guage shotgun. My ears were comfortable next to the muzzle. The foam padding around my ears was also comfortable, and the head band kept the muffs tightly against my head without causing discomfort after an hour.

Woman's review for shooting

In the picture I thought they looked black and gray, but they are truly a deep green. It's disappointing because I wanted them to be gray to go with my pink protective eye wear. :( As for the quality, they reduce sound decently and you can still talk to someone while you're wearing them. They are fine for an indoor range as long as they don't allow high powered rifles because then your ears might start to hurt a bit after a few shots if their insulation/sound reduction isn't at 100%. They are better in an outdoor range if you are planning on shooting anything higher than a .308. I usually shoot a .357 or a .45 and they do the job very well for those types of guns. It also did well with my 12g shotgun. They are very comfortable. I appreciate the padded headband and the ear muffs fit nicely around my ears. You can definitely wear this for quite a while without feeling uncomfortable. They are a bit on the smaller side which is fine for the ladies, but my boyfriend is a big guy-- 6'4" and these are a bit small for his ears.

Work fine

This head set works great I have one already and this one is for my wife she just received her permit. The unit is made quite well mine has lasted 4 years and still works fine. Sound reduction is great.

I'd prefer a little more room for them to expand a bit larger for a more comfortable fit. Just a smidgen on the tight side, fit wise. Might send them back. Other than that , well made for the money and they do the job. Update : They're too small for me. All other ear protection I've tried on fit much better......these are going back.

Comfortable

I bought these for at the shooting range. They are pretty light, comfortable, and cut the noise. One plus for me is that they fit over my hearing aids. I can turn them down, and slip these on, and I can hear well enough if someone is trying to get my attention. My hearing aids have really good feedback elimination. If yours don't have that i'm sure they'll scream like Banshee if you try to use these with them.

Ear muffs

I have used this product in the past. It is comfortable and completely protects my ears from loud noises.

Good all around ear protection.

They are snug, but they work great. If you have a large head, they probably will not work for you. I would also use these indoors, because the ear cups outside in heat are going to be very sweaty.
