Good bang for buck
Are they cheap? Yes. Do they do what they’re supposed to? Yes. If you’re buying these and expect high quality, stop being cheap and buy an expensive tip up. I got these for my son to introduce him to ice fishing. I wanted to make sure he was going to like going before I bought him some nice ones. These will work great as spares when it’s time to upgrade his gear. Can’t beat the price to a cheap tip up with line. Just add a leader and a treble hook and find some hard water!

I have bought many different kinds. These have been the best to work with. The line that comes on them works great and caught many fish on them. Keeps the whole from freezing as well. Bought 2 more for this season. Not going to use the fabric ones I have. Just try them. Way worth the money

Perfect tip ups
These tipups are amazing for what they cost, the flag slipped down twice, but that still was noticeable that something was on them. All other 3 dozen times they went off sent the flag up perfectly. Can easily fit 14 into a powder laundry detergent bucket. With bait and other necessary gear. And about 8 in a 5 gallon bucket if you stack enough gear under where they won’t get stuck. Compact. easy to set. Very effective.

Good inexpensive tip up
I bought these because I didn't want to shell out a lot of money for name brand rigs. Seems like I am always having something break on those more expensive units and toss them in trash. These tip ups are built cheaper but you can't argue with the price. The simplistic design is actually really nice. Easy to set and they come with tip up line installed on the spools. Just add a leader, hooks, bait and you are fishing. Will buy more in the future.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for but the price is right. It doesn't cost much more for these as it does just for a lid for a bucket at my local hardware store. They aren't much more sturdy either but, basically all you need is a hook, sinker and bait

Look more than great
Look great, lightweight take even less space than traditional tip up and incredibly less than those under reel round tip up. Someone left a commentary saying that a big fish would break it.... but the only reason for this would be that you let the reel empty itself of line!! I ordered 4 more (2pk) an hour after seeing those tip ups!
