Fits Great!

I was upgrading my Hyper Havoc with new wheels and tires, looking to upgrade to disk brakes later on. The Croft 26" wheelset is made for a 10-gear cassette, but the Havoc came originally with a 3 x 7 setup. You will need a 4.5mm spacer to fit on a 10-gear hub! So I got this cassette for less than $12, delivered. I dropped it on the wheel, now with big o' Maxxis tires and the spacer, and the shifting is snappy and responsive. The only thing to beware of: I ordered the black and brown cassette, frankly, because it was cheaper. I was also down for some extra style. I received the all black set. No issues! Very stoked!

Misleading description

It says it is a CS-HG20-7 cassette in the description but I received a CS-HG200-7. But it will still work for my bike.

Nice item for the price

Got this for a rebuild on an old hybrid bike I got at a thrift shop. Didn't want to spend a lot of money as it was for general purpose riding, not high performance or long distance. I'd been disappointed with the equivalent 7 speed "freewheel" Shimano cluster I got for my road bike, the built in ratcheting mechanism was noisy and rough, so I wasn't expecting much. Was pleasantly surprised. Put cassette and new chain on, and it pedals and shifts smoothly. The perfect thing for this build.

It looks good and shifts ok

I noticed that one reviewer received a 11-13-15-18-21-24-28 cassette instead of 12-28. I would have preferred an 11 tooth small gear since that is OEM for a MY2000 Raleigh M80 which I am rebuilding. I received a 12 tooth small gear. Not much difference. It looks good and shifts ok. Will not know about durability for several years.

7 speed is all you need

I had this bad boy on my bike in 20 min of receiving it at the door. This 7 speed 11-28t is replacing a 13-30t on my 1990s Diamondback Master Tg. My commute is full of hills, bUT this is going to give me a faster top end speed on the descents. The cassette comes in black, which looks very nice. I'm hoping to get a year and a half out of it, but only time will tell.

I received neither the product listed (CS-HG20-7) nor the one as described (CS-HG30-7). I received a CS-HG200-7 (12-14-16-18-21-24-28). Sure it's a slight upgrade over the 200-7. It isn't what I expected, but it will get my bike functional again.

Great gear set

Great gear set, comes easy to install if your bike uses cassettes and not freewheels. They do not come apart as I thought they would - I bought this to replace a broken sprocket - so I ended up buying a new freewheel for my bike and installing this on a friends. It's working great so far, and she seems to like how well it rides now. The sprockets are taller than the old ones and there is never any slipping.

Dont mix and match

I learnt a lot when I refurbished my 20 year old bile, there are so many different technologies around, if you need to change the cassette, chain wheel or chain, make sure that you use all the same types, in this case Hyper-glide.

It is perfect for "kitbashing"...

.... which means if no one makes what you're looking for, buy the closest that can be modified. I wanted a cassette with the largest sprocket being 28T, it needed to fit the original 6 speed cassette hub (Shimano 600). It does after the required modifications. As far as how smooth the buying transaction was ... don't get me started!

Onvolledige levering

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, zu meinem Bedauern habe ich festgestellt, dass die Kassette nicht vollständig ist. die 12 + Waschmaschine fehlt. Die Verpackung ist ebenfalls nicht original (Kunststofffolie). Kann ich das bitte bekommen? Habe jetzt das alte vermisst zusammengebaut. Über das Wochenende mit Freunden fahren zu können. Buen reemplazo

Compre el casette para los rines Vuelta ZeroLite y quedaron muy bien, solo requirieron un espaciador (rosca/rondana) para encajar a la medida. Recuerden que al comprarlos, chequen que sus rines sean compatibles con FreeHub y no con FreeWheel.
