Great double echarger

The charger arrived quickly and was easy to understand and use. The charging speed is not fast, but on a job site it will work as long as you have extra batteries on hand. The documentation says 45 to 80% but top-offs seem to be faster. I like the long power cord, but wish it was a higher amp charger, like the DCB115, but only in a double, Or the fast charger with the cooling fan but alas we use what we can find.

Exciting

Was pretty nifty for about two weeks. Untill a laborer simply swapped out batteries and a huge blue ark shot out of the back of it and copious amounts of smoke. Then I excitedly removed several hundred dollars worth of batteries from it and ripped the cord out of the wall that was ten million degrees and hot melted plastic stuck all over my hands. Oh good times. Now do I want to pay a $100 for that? Not really, but hey at least it wasn't a boring afternoon.

Charges very quickly. I have used many chargers over the years but this is my favorite.

Little pricey but it’s namebrand and hopefully I won’t get a fire using it like the knock offs

This is a pretty cool charger charge is quick and I only buy the namebrand I do not play with Marc off’s because I don’t wanna fire in my house when I’m not home so I pony up and pay them good money for the good stuff, Sure there’s cheaper knock offs but for 50 bucks cheaper I’m not having a fire I want a UL listed product that is built for Dewalt and designed for the dewalt original batteries. I got screwed on an aftermarket battery on the Internet and I would never go cheap batteries again I always buy the namebrand batteries. I don’t need a fire . I’ve had good luck even though they’re overpriced from Dwalt /Milwaukee. You can keep your Chinese knock off‘s Batteries. And charger. I like this charger for 100 bucks Expensive but cheaper than fire.

Anybody who uses cordless power tools needs 1 of these I don’t know how I managed without 1. The best way to charge your batteries.

This unit is for using at home but could easily serves its purpose in a industrial work environment as well. We already have a station but only for one battery, so obviously this one can charge two at the same time. It is more convenient than a solo charger but I find the price a little bit high. I could have gone with a knock off brand but I trust Dewalt and if anything goes wrong with our Dewalt tools/accessories usually they have a good costumer support so I didn't mind paying the extra bucks. There are two USB ports so you can keep your cellphone or any other devices charged while you work . This becomes handy if your a contractor and need you phone at a moment notice . The reason why I only give 4 stars it's about the price and that I haven't tried the USB ports so far as this unit is a gift for my son while he works around the house and he hasn't used it yet but I have charged our batteries with it to make sure that it serves its purpose. This item is easily a 5 stars. Could a knock off brand do the same work, likely yes, but by using a Dewalt brand charger to use with Dewalt products, I maximize my chances of compatibility and reduce the chances of damaging our tools/accessories. So I recommend this item.

Great Charger

Much faster than the charger that comes with tools. USB is a bonus. Down side is it has no mounting ability and the cord has a large cylindrical filter just inches from the unit. Makes wrapping the cord more difficult.

Double the pleasure

I was skeptical about buying a cordless because of a battery wearing down before the job was done. So, I bought extra batteries and this double charger to eliminate that problem. I'm very happy with my decision and this double charger is why. I always have fresh batteries available now the job is much easier without the hinderance of the cord in my way.

Nothing much to say other than these are genuine DEWALT batteries and charger. I'll be glad I bought genuine batteries over the years instead of some cheaper clones ones that last half the time.
