Just exactly what I needed to organize my old weights.

CAP Barbell Olympic Plate Tree Storage Rack in red. I bought this Olympic Plate Tree Storage Rack for my Olympic Weider weight set. 35 lbs x 2 = 70 lbs 25 lbs x 2 = 50 lbs 10 lbs x 2 = 20 lbs 5 lbs x 4 = 20 lbs 2.5lbs x 2 = 5 lbs Total 165lbs Originally I was going to return this item because the item arrived taped and pieced together with the dark blue black PRIME tape over it that looked really beat up. Amazon said it was the shippers fault but this is pure Amazon purchase shipping in their own system. I had someone look at the merchandise to make sure everything was there in the box needed to put item together. Just was not worth taking the disintegrated box into a parcel shipping service be returned. The items in the box I received contained all the parts it seemed, red & white attention warning page, and owner’s manual. There was no clear instructions in my box outside of an assembly montage on the last page in owner’s manual. If there was an actual separate instruction insert there was none available for me. The ATTENTION red and white insert page state that you will need to use a socket and driver in addition to an adjustable wrench to supply enough torque to assemble. When I read the warning I was glad I had the tools to assemble this product. If you do not have the proper tools it may take a moment assemble. Sturdiness of the weight tree rack l received overall is a good design after putting it together. However there are a few odd things about this weight rack tree. Distance between the plate bar holders are close but my old weights from the 1990s are not that bulky like ones from the 21st century. The bolts and steel nuts are in odd locations when plates press on them causing some scratches. However my weights are old so it is not that important for this set of weights. Price was under $80 for this Olympic Plate Tree Storage Rack compared to others as well as being sturdier than others. I purchased the one with the red base because it was on sale at the time. The price for the other colors were more expensive for the same item which was odd. The price should be the same if it the exact model for something like this. Overall I am going to keep this and use it. The CAP Barbell Olympic Plate Tree Storage Rack is a solid product that has exceeded my expectations once put together.

UPDATE: Delivered With Missing Parts

The product is as described and appears to be nicely engineered; however, mine arrived missing two sets of the mounting bolts/washers/nuts. I called CAP Barbell's customer service number, but they are not accepting phone calls "due to COVID-19 restrictions". (It is 2023, right?!?) I have emailed CAP Barbell's customer service as directed by their phone contact's voicemail to request the missing parts. I will update this review if/when the missing parts are received. Update: Contacted the customer service (email only) and requested the missing parts. The parts arrived within a few days. Increased my rating to 4 stars. I would give the weight rack 5 stars; however, the bolt head and ends do contact your weights as they sit on the rack and will mare / scratch the weights themselves. It would be nice to have some type of rubber or plastic guard over the bolts to prevent any damage to the weights. Minor point, yep they're weights, but weights are expensive nowadays!

Great value!

You can ignore most of the bad reviews. 1) The ones complaining about "can't fit plates" are unreasonable. It fits all my plates just fine, with multiple options (if you want to fit a bunch of 45s on both sides, just remove the one middle peg). 2) LOL at the guy who says his plates slide off the pegs... dude, they are slightly angled, you have the pegs upside down! This is a solid unit. I have a slightly better one on the other side (it's taller, and thus does have more space between all pegs), but it was also 3x the cost, and this one extremely comparable aside from the height. This one actually looks better, if that matters to you, and who are we kidding, that matters. The exposed bolt-ends bothered me a tiny bit (can't see them in this photo). But I had some little rubber caps for bolt ends (they are like 10-cents), and they don't bother me at all now.

AMAZON Delivery was WRONG!!

We like the sturdiness of this stand, plus how it will store all the weight products together and the reasonable price. We do not like Amazon's delivery, because they left it out in the rain next to our garage door where there is a sign that says do not deliver here; deliver to the front door. That's where it would be protected from the rain. The packaging was soaked!

Good holder

Hold the weights nicely and hasn't show any inclination of tipping over. When I first got it, the instructions for installation were like one page and seemed intensive. Once I looked closer at it, the instruction pretty clear and didn't need more explanation.

Cost effective way to organize weight plates

Got this plate tree to organize my plates. I was able to fit all my plates ranging from 1.25 lb to 35 lb. Given the compact form factor and low price compared to other plate trees, I am happy with it. As other reviewers noted, assembly took a bit of work as no tools were provided and you need two wrenches to tighten each bolt. Once assembled, it seems quite sturdy and no issue holding the weight I put on it. Overall quite satisfied and would recommend to someone looking to store a few 2" olympic plates.

Fantastic

Amazing product for the price. Easy to set up by yourself, holds multiple plates and is the perfect size for a home gym. The metal is sturdy and the paint was not chipped. The only thing you’ll need is some patience (if assembling it by yourself) and a socket set.

Sturdy but PITA to assemble

So far have had 455 on it no problem. Box arrived damaged and some of the parts had rust and paint chipped off.

Good storage but not for 2" bumper plates

Product serves its purpose at a reasonable price. If you intend to use it with bumper plates maybe look for another option. I did not use the middle peg and my 10lbs 15 lbs 20lbs 25lbs fit on the remain 4 pegs. Taking them off the storage rack at times can be challenging as the top and bottom plates at times touch each other making the task longer to preform.
