It works

Received the product with few of the end yellow things popping out and out of shape and few scratches. The welds are not done all around the pipes or where applicable it was only a half weld everywhere not sure on why it was half a***d. Was worried if it would hold up the weight but to surprise its still standing after putting on 300 pounds on it. Hope it stands after few months.

Has held up

I've had this for about a yr I think. It's held these same weight plates with no problem. Wasn't hard to put together & sturdy. The bottom center are 5lbs, middle 2.5lbs, l/r bottom 20lbs, r-middle 5lbs, r-top 2.5lbs & l-top 10lbs.. for an idea of the weight it's holding. My bars are 1 1/8th diameter & don't fit in the bar holders so those are useless for me. That's why 4 stars. I have my bars laying across it for this reason. Thought about getting the 2" but my plates are 1" so it wouldn't work.

Potential to be a great buy…

This has the potential to be a great buy. Overall, this will hold whatever weight you throw on it and you can’t beat the price. It is very easy to assemble. No instructions necessary (because none are included). However, if you need instructions for the four bolts required to assemble this, you probably have bigger things to worry about… My only complaint is that the end caps seem to be easily broken during shipping. Roughly half of mine were damaged/broken when it arrived. It seems to me that an easy solution would be for them to leave the end caps off and separate them during shipping so the customer can assemble, but for now be prepared to be disappointed when you cut open the box and see damaged end caps. I guess time will tell to see how the others hold up from general use. I wish there was a way to easily get replacement caps since buying new end caps wasn’t the first thing I was hoping to do when I got this.

Great compact solution for a home gym

I tried ordering this product back in March during the initial pandemic shutdown, but it went out of stock everywhere. Finally, it's back! This rack is the best product I found as a compact solution for storing my barbells and plates for my home gym setup. It easily stores my modest set of Olympic plates as well as my two barbells with lots of room to grow. It is designed to store many more plates (and larger sizes) than what I have, and two additional bars. But for a small home gym, this is compact, taking a minimum amount of floor space compared to other racks. It can store up to four bars upright, keeping them off the floor. I use the center pegs for storing all my clamps. It was a breeze to assemble, only requiring four nuts and bolts, taking me under 10 minutes. Compared to what else is out there, this seemed to be by far the best solution for my home exercise space.

Good for plates, not thrilled about the bar holders.

I have four 45 pound bumper plates and the rest are Fitness Gear iron plates from Dick's. The 45's by Fitness Gear are not standard olympic size (they are a smaller diameter). Wanted to practice deadlifts at the proper height so got the bumper plates. The side with the two pins holds the 45s just right (could probably put another plat on each pin - currently put two per pin). I have 4 Fitness Gear 45's on the bottom pin on the three pin side, 2 25's in the middle and 5 5's on the top. On the middle top pin, I have 4 2.5 plates and the bottom one has 4 10 pound plates. The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is that I am not comfortable putting my bars in the bar holder sleeves. They sway too much for my taste. UPDATED 1-9-2020 - I now store my bars in the bar holder sleeves and it makes a big difference in the apartment - only drawback is that the base is too wide for a landmine attachment that I had on my old weight rack, but that is not what this rack was made for so I have to give it five stars for fulfilling all my other requirements.

Solid

Based off of the price point versus other comparable products, I decided to go with this one. Put it together in 5 minutes and it sits level. Not perfect fabricating, so you may need to ping it here and there with a rubber mallet, but it’s gonna get beat up to some degree anyway. Item itself is pretty light but sits sturdy being fully loaded.

Good value

9AUG2021 - I'll give this a 4 stars. I had an issue with my first order, it had come in pretty beaten up with the box all beaten up and there were dents so I couldn't use it. I reached out to Amazon Support to get some help from them to help remedy the issue. I was able to get a new one out pretty quickly which was great. The 2nd one came in but had some issue as well , the box was a bit torn up and there was some chips in the paint but the entire thing is still usable. It can still wobble a but but for $75 it is pretty hard to beat the price for this kind of weight rack. Will update if I have any issues

Pros: Price, sturdy, easy to assemble (5 to 10 minutes), came with tools and an extra bolt, great way to organize your weights, love the yellow rubber theme, fantastic lay out system (structural design). Cons: Arrived 3 days late (due to storm) Rating: Overall I give this product 5 stars. Despite the storm, I would not let that affect my rating. This product is amazing. Highly recommend.

Good rack.

I've found it to be very easy to assemble. The only issue to date is that the protection rings tend to grip on the bar ends and come out of the rack. Otherwise, the rack is made sturdy and can be used to store many plates of different size.

Excellent for the price!

Came to the door really quickly. It’s perfect for my purposes and a good price. It was super easy to assemble with only 4 bolts, washers and nuts. Good value for the money for a home gym with limited weights. I have 255 lbs of plates on there with no issue.
