PERFECT FOR LITTLE DOGS
I bought this short gate because I have an older cat who uses our spare bathroom to access his litter box but the dog loves to stare at him while he does his business. My yorkie Fred loves to follow Scooter our cat into the bathroom and pester him while he uses the litter box and I know that this infuriates Scooter. The height of the gate is perfect, so Scooter does not have to jump so high as other baby gates and it is easy to step over of humans but tall enough to keep a 5# yorkie out. The little access gate at the bottom is a nice treat but my dog is so much smaller than the cat I do not use it because it defeats the purpose of the gate. I have not mastered the lock and it is still a little tricky for me, so we just step over it and keep the gate up all the time. The gate it is very sturdy and secures to the case of the door very well and the vertical bars keep Fred from being able to get a paw hold climb over it.

EXACTLY what I was looking for, bbbbut have to return it.
Due to the thickness of the rubber grips on both ends it's actually too wide in its "folded/closed" position for my shower. I originally planned to remove the the grips (screwed in) and shave them down to accommodate my needs. But then the concern was, over time, it would become a pressure point and cause stress cracks on my (thin) stone walls. The gate itself is extremely well built... and would keep out a DEMANDING Chihuahua that believes she nnnnneeds to take a shower with me. ???????? Had my baseboards not been so tall my alternate use was the walk-in closet ... DEMANDING Chi would have attempted to squeeze her 2.5 lb body under and possibly get stuck/hurt. The other thing I liked about it, they also gave you matching caps to screw into your wall/door frame for the rubber grips to fit into to support the gate and/or keep the rubber from marring your wall/door frame. PS: CHEAPER work arounds to keep the fur-baby out of areas ... Project/Poster boards for bedroom doorways, our cat never knew he could jump over it. ???? OOOOR, use wire grid/cube storage panels. To keep my Chi out of the shower/closet, I built a wall 2 panels high x 3 panels across and used 2-3 panels on one side to support the wall. ????????☺️

This product is great for our Chiweenies, we could keep them in a room and we could just walk over the gate. It has a little door that allows the dogs to go in and out of you want them too without taking down the gate. But definitely watch the video review by L.W., If the directions that come with the product confuse you. If you are the type of person who does not read the manuals or instructions, I will tell you this you are tightening it in the wrong direction! That was us!

Very easy to install
While extremely easy to put together and install, please keep in mind you will either need to remove it or step over it to get past it—this is not a walk-through. If that isn’t an issue for you but would like a small door for, say, a cat to get through (like in a stairway), this works wonderfully.

Gate
I got this gate to keep my puppy out of my room. He is naughty and wants to pee on everything, so I don't want him in there. The gate works perfectly. The screws that came with it are terrible. Even though I pre drilled, the head of 2 screws twisted off. Thankfully I had my own and got it mounted

Check to make sure the locking feature works and if not return it if you can...
This is my second one of these I own. The "door" locking device was installed incorrectly at manufacture so I have to use duct tape to keep it closed...but it works. I really had no choice but to keep it or my puppy would have been in danger.

Easy, clean and effective
Literally took 3 minutes to install. I raised it about 3-4" off the floor to give it some height without giving too much clearance for the dog to crawl under. This worked for my dog so far, that may change as she gets more comfortable around it.. I do love the overall simplicity, it's great for a small doorway!

It’s a little annoying to step over the gate all the time but it’s better than having a walkthrough gate the kids forget to close.

Best gate for small dogs.
This is the second one I've purchased, the first being a couple of weeks ago. I have two curious pugs who would be out the front door to investigate the world the first chance they got, and my dh isn't as careful as me when he answers the door, so I have installed one outside the front door as an extra security measure to stop them being able to get out. It works a treat and is small enough to step over but big enough they can't jump over, so it gives me peace of mind. This second one is for the back door as my heart is in my mouth when the back door is open as it slams shut if the wind catches it and I am terrified one of my babies are in the way - problem solved with this. Fantastic gate for the money plus there is a small gate within it for letting my pups go through without having to lift them. I have purchased at least six different types of gates and this is by far the best.

Solid construction
This is a very well constructed and solid gate which will keep our small puppy away from the front door. There is just one caveat if you intend to use this across a hallway - the rubber stoppers which fit up against the wall are only 1.5cm deep so if you have slightly thicker skirting boards the stoppers will not fit flush with the wall. I resolved this by fitting one side above the skirting and the other between the banisters. It is quite secure. No problem with door frames though.

Negatives possibly outweigh the positives
Was a bit undecided how to review this product because as far as doing what I wanted, yes it does a good job of keeping dog in kitchen when I’m out the house. I struggled to find a gate that fitted an altered door frame width. It is very sturdy and secure and very easy to put up. BUT the negative points - the little door is not usable unless u have the gate pretty much at full width. It says adjustable 66-106cm but if you require it at the shorter end of the spectrum then it doesn’t leave enough space for the door to be effective as dog/cat won’t be able to fit through. ALSO I removed the gate after a few days to clean around the floor area and the black rubber ends have marked my painted walls. Marks won’t come off now.

Simple and Easy
I purchased this more as a child gate that I can move easily from opening to opening when I have my Nephew around. I can absolutely do this and it works a treat. Loosen the "tightener" (I don't know the real name), Lift the pin and away you go to the next area. Contemplating getting a second one just to make things even easier but will see how we go with the 1 for now. Highly recommend as its so simple to use. It also has a small pet door so works great for my small dog.

Very pleased with this, although of course I realise that how satisfied you are likely to be with it depends on what animals you want to fence in/out. From my point of view it was ideal, because I wanted something that our (plump) cat can jump over, but which our toy poodle (around 10"/26cm high at the shoulder and fairly athletic) can't. And if fits the bill perfectly. What's more it's the kind of height a reasonably fit adult can step over without too much difficulty, and the little access door works a treat. Plus it was quick to install - pressure mounted so no screws etc required - and is neat and sturdy. You would need to use screws, though, in certain circumstances such as if it was installed at the top of a stairway. The only downside is that unlike a pet gate you *do* have to remember to step over it, that's to say it's more of a fence than a gate. But most pet gates seemed unsuitable for our needs, because they would have been too high for our cat to vault over.
