It works great on squirrels

Sound: So I bought this because of how compact it is. I have a folding bike and I don't have that much room on the handle bar for accessories. I love the pitch of the ring, it has a polite and vibrant ring which is what I was looking for. The thing is, no one hears it. Everyone on the bike trail I ride on has earbuds in and are completely oblivious. The few that don't have earbuds hear it just fine, but those people also tend to be more alert and will just hear me coming anyway. No need to ding the bell. Not really much I can do about the earbuds, though, short of installing an airhorn. On the other hand, there are a lot of squirrels where I live and the minute I ding this thing once, they all scatter. They don't even do the run one direction and turn back like they do when they just see me coming. Once I ding the bell, they will just clear the path immediately. This is great because I've had times where I've lost control of the bike trying to swerve to avoid hitting them. Durability: The other thing about this is that my first one broke pretty early on. I unfolded my bike one day and I found it in pieces. Luckily, the company had accidentally sent me a 10 pack of these so I installed another one and that one has lasted years. It's very possible that I may have broken the first one it when folding the bike. I may have accidentally jammed the bike pedal into it or something.

Get the Luxe

This bell is dead sexy and easy to install, but wish I had gone for the Luxe version. The clapper mechanism is, well, all clapped out after just a few uses. The spring has bent away from the metal bell part on me and it's quite difficult to get a sound out of it now. When it worked it was clear and a carries wonderfully; definitely get a Luxe version (better clapper mechanism).

I broke it

Easy to install and the sound is fairly loud but not loud as I would like. I bent the thumb tab so it went into the trash. Bought a Crane bell as a replacement. Not as compact but much better as a bell.

Not loud enough

We purchased the copper small bell. It looks real nice, attaches easily, but isn't loud enough to warn people of your approach. The ring doesn't last long enough either. Returning the item.

I wanted it to work with my bike!!

I wanted this bell to work with my bike. It’s cute and doesn’t stick out. Blends well with the handlebars. Unfortunately, the brake cables are in the way so it dampens the sound on the bell or causes it to not ring at all. So bummed. If you don’t have brakes cables up near your handlebars then this bell would work great for you.

It's Just a Bell

I like its compact design that doesn't interfere with othr controls on the bar. I'm not impressed by its sound. And it's a bit fussy about needing the 'trigger' to be flipped just right to get decent sound out of it — something not easy to do on rough trails. All-in-all it's just a bell, an average one at that, with a good footprint and a high pricetag.

Amazing new innovative bicycle bell!

I'm very impressed with the Knog Oi bicycle bell. Our family have a small selection of more conventional bells, including the excellent Crane Karen bell, and the Knog is everyone's instant favorite because of its convenience, novelty, and incredible clarity of sound.. Drawbacks would include the fact that handlebar diameter dictates bell tone (we bought the 22.2mm "small" model; it appears the 23.8mm version has a lower pitched sound) and the fact that you don't have the style of a conventional bell dome. Prices for the basic models (like I bought) seem comparable to Crane bells.

The best!

In my opinion this is the best sounding bell in this price range, a clean melodic sound that people NOT WEARING headphones seem to enjoy getting as a polite notice of your passing. The ONLY issue is they think you're selling ice cream!

Schön, dezent, und unbrauchbar.

Schön ist sie, klein und unauffällig. Aber das dezente erstreckt sich auch auf den Klang. Die Lautstärke ist eher gering. Und wenn die Klingel nass ist, wird sie noch leiser. Außerdem ist bei einem von zwei gekauften Exemplaren bereits nach kurzer Zeit die Feder am Klöppel ausgeleiert. Also erfüllt die Klingel vielleicht die gesetzliche Anforderung an "eine helltönende Glocke", aber wirksam ist sie kaum. Nachtrag: Inzwischen hat der Klöppel seinen Geist ganz aufgegeben. Also: Schön, aber lausige Konstruktion.

Klingt sooo schön, ist aber nach genau einem Jahr Benutzung schon Edelschrott

Ich liebe diese Klingel. Sie sieht in Kupfer edel aus, die Ringform ist etwas Besonderes und der Klang einfach nur schön. Montage war kinderleicht. Wenn sie nun noch lange hält, kann es besser nicht sein. Nachtrag: Ich habe die Klingel vor genau einem Jahr bei Amazon bestellt. Fahrrad bin ich in Summe seitdem vielleicht 20 Mal gefahren. Wie oft wurde die Klingel also benutzt? Wenig! Jetzt ist sie kaputt gegangen. Die Feder rausgebrochen, weil einfach nur mit Flüssigkleber am Kunststoff befestigt. Sehr sehr ärgerlich! Ich kann vom Kauf nur abraten! Edelschrott!!

Neither sizes fit my bike while having both brakes equipped

My bike is a State Bike Co. fixie. This bell is supposed to fit my bike as they sell it on their website and I asked if it would fit. I tried both sizes and they don't. Since I have two brakes on my bike the part of the handle bar that is a little slimmer (and is compatible with the bell) is taken up by the brakes and therefore my bell cannot fit. Disappointed that I can't have both my brakes on and have the bike bell on. There is space between my brakes and the stem but the diameter is wider there than where my brakes are... sad. The bell sounds nice. I like the sound of the bigger size a little better - not as high pitch. Otherwise, it's a great bike bell.

Super - das Original ist sein Geld wert!!!!!

Haben zwei KNOG Classic, und mussten feststellen, dass sie ihr Geld komplett Wert sind!!! Qualität (Plastik,Metall, Schraubverbindung, Befestigung, Klang und Lautstärke) einfach alles super und entspricht den Angaben. Haben das erst schätzen gelernt, als wir beim Kauf von günstigeren Nachahmungsprodukten bereits am ersten Tag zwei defekte Klingeln hatten. Die KNOGs im Gegensatz dazu funktionieren einwandfrei, sehen super aus, sind mit einem sehr schönem Klang ordentlich laut. Hier sollte man definitiv zum Original greifen!!!

Sistema de timbre regular

Es el sistema de timbre no este producto en particular, ya he probado varios y no suena casi, la gente no se entera cuando toco este tipo de timbres, acabo instalándome el timbre de toda la vida que si se escucha y la gente se aparta. Es una lástima que este sistema no sea más sonoro porque es muy cómodo y discreto, pero si quieres que te escuchen y se aparte la gente no recomiendo este sistema de timbre.
