Great for already tilled ground!
After looking at the reviews, I was hesitant on purchasing. I read a couple detailed positive reviews and said “what the hell!” and took the risk. This small disc is perfect for gardens with ground that Has already been tilled before. If you are trying to break up tough ground this is not the product for you. When making turns I drove right onto the grass and It did not tear it up. I chose not to buy the hitch attachment and just hooked it up and gave it a go. I have a rock solid 60lb bag of concrete mix bungee strapped on top, if I wanted it to go deeper more weight would’ve done the job. It took me about 10 minutes to put it together.

Not a bad item for the price, but has some limitations.
We bought this to use in the garden on the farm. I'm used to full sized implements, so when I first hooked this up I was a bit disappointed when it just skipped across the dirt. This unit really needs some weight on it to do anything, or the soil must already be very loose. Even with a lot of weight this doesn't quite dig in as much as it should. Aside from that, the instructions are clear and it's easy to assemble. The steel seems heavy enough to last and the paint should also stand up well over time. I pulled this behind a garden tractor and an ATV. If you just want to turn over already loose soil and keep down some small weeds, this will do great. If you plan to pull this behind an ATV and do some sod busting, then move along to something heavier and more expensive. For the price, you can't go wrong. I'll probably buy another one of these next spring to connect to the first backwards and pull them in tandem like a full sized disc. I'm also planning to make steel baskets on top that I can load with weight so they actually dig in.

Good, little disk harrow
Even with a considerable amount of weight on it, this harrow still has trouble digging in very far. Easy to assemble and the important parts, (disks, axles and bearings) seem heavy-duty enough, although a rock can bend a disk.

Solidly built
I haven't been able to use it yet since I am waiting on the sleeve hitch. when I use it I will update the review. Putting it together was rather easy for this 87 year old. I have harrowed large acreage and now just looking for something work with my garden tractor. I believe this wil be more than sturdy enough since it is built as solid as larger harrows I used on farm tractors.

and looks nice, but that's about it
Bought this to work in tandem with an Agrifab toothed cultivator. I thought it would be at least near the quality of the Brinly moldboard I had purchased a few weeks prior, but alas, it isn't. I'll give it this, it is SOLID, very heavy gauge metal, and looks nice, but that's about it. Upon inspecting the parts prior to assembly, I noticed that the welds on the spacers were very rough, with many burs, which had to be removed and smoothed before sliding onto the 16" hex bolt. Next, the disc hanger has to be assembled to make the bearing. The unplated sleeve that slides into the hanger is WAY too tight a fit. It had to be hammered (using a rubber mallet) into place. I figured it was too tight, but also figured that the Zerk might allow enough grease into it to give it enough lube. I was wrong. After assembling (which had other instructional issues), I creased the bearings, and started the drag. No motion on the hub at all, zero, ziltch, nada. And of course, it's so tightly fit now, it won't come apart. So, I have to order 2 new disc hangers, 2 new unplated sleeves, and 4 new bearing gaskets! Note to anyone who buys this, test fit all the parts, and if bearing doesn't go together easily, either return for new parts, or sand down the unplated sleeve until it does fit.

My husband loved the idea. However, it did not work for us.
He like the idea. Put together easily. Hitched to lawnmower. Everything he wanted except it didn't till the garden dirt. He tried and tried. Oh, well, guess we need to buy a tiller

Works Great in loose soils.
Got my first one and it did good at breaking up the plowed soil. Got my second one and converted single to tandem set-up and worked great only faster. Also used one to make raised hills for planting crops ,also used one to hill up 2 80 foot long rows of corn and 2 80 foot rows of beans.,Worked super no more hand work. Thanks for another Great Product ,for small garden tractors.
