Super convenient

I ordered this camera arm to replace my older, less versatile, arm for hunting. I love the fact that there is the ability to make horizontal and vertical adjustments without adjusting the strap around the tree. I would recommend tightening down all of the bolts before you use it though. It would be nice if the strap/ratchet was quieter.

Great for Filming Hunts

This camera arm was exactly what I needed to start filming my own hunts. It was moderately easy to set up the first time. The adjustments were straight forward and simple. Loosen the levers on the base and adjust to get everything plumb. Then adjust the dial to get it level. I was using a Canon DSLR camera and Manfroto fluid head. This combination on the Muddy Camera Arm allowed me to get some smooth video while panning and following game. Mine did not include the silent strap, some indicated theirs did, but rather a ratcheting type. The silent strap would be nice if I were removing and reinstalling the base a bunch of times on early morning hunts.

Pretty Good Rig for the Money.

Overall a very good product. If using a heavier camera like a DSLR and a fluid head it will still sag a bit when fully extended. Definitely not the best arm out there but it will do a great job with lighter cameras. Fastens super tight to trees. Overall a great product for $100 range.

Ok product, fit, finish not so great!

The arms are scratched about 1inch long with 1/4 inch paint chipped, wording (Muddy) is upside down, weld is running loose inisde the arm. Had a hard time putting the arm inside the base and pulling it out of the base.

Awesome product. VERY well built. Easy.

Very well built. Easy and secure mounting. i read complaints about the strap. It's a simple solid rachet that took seconds to install. Zero issues. My son ordered 2 more.

Not great

The arm itself is very good, but the camera mounting attachment is terrible. It may work for something the size and weight of a mobile phone

China messed up.

Fist as picture against the box the Muddy insignia was up side down. That should have been my warning a rookie made this one. Defective. So I figure I'll sand that off but first to try it out. The arm would not under any possible human pressure fit into the holder. A machinist lived next door he just laughs. Says you'd have to change out the nylon insert or machine the arm down. No I paid full price for this it's going back. No bust on the seller. They had no idea. Unless they don't refund all my money. It said the reserve the right to only give part if it back. Huh? Ship defective stuff and partial return? Got video and pictures for that dispute. Try out 4th ops next. What I should have done.

Quality Camera Arm for a good price

I love this camera arm, easy set up and balance. The only downfall is it doesn’t come with the muddy silence strap witch would reduce noise tremendously. All in all great buy for the price.
