Perfect fit for small boat.
Fit great on my pond prowler. Product works as suggested. I have my lowrance 3 in 1 transducer attached and has held up pretty well. If I had a "complaint", I'd like the arm to be a little heavier plastic. For the price I would just buy another.

Good mount, but was missing hardware
The mount appears good, my only complaint was that it was missing Hardware. It was missing a 1/4" square nut. Luckily I was able to substitute a regular 1/4-20 nut. taking away a star for poor quality control. Not worth dealing with returning the unit to get a new one. EDIT: In the end it was also missing the plastic arm that connects to the transducer. I only noticed that once I went to install the transducer. I sent the unit back for a replacement.

Functional transducer mount.
Using this to mount a transducer on a kayak. A little flimsy but functional for what it is designed to do, but half the price of similar transducer mounts. I didn't need the included locking side deck mount (241L) because I already have 5 installed on my kayak. Wish they sold this without that part because it accounts for about half the price of the whole assembly, but it is what it is. I also didn't see the need for the plastic wing nut thumb screws. I chose not to use them, but rather once adjusted for my fishfinder application, I just used the bolts in the kit without the plastic wing nuts to secure the arm together. Once the transducer is set, there is no further need for further adjustments. The locking side deck mount easily allows for the arm to be rotated into a stow/transport position without the need for adjustments to length, so again, no need for the plastic wing nuts. Overall a functional transducer mount, but it could be sold with fewer pieces at a reduced price point.

So good I bought two
This is much better than sticking it through the scupper hole and risk dragging your transducer across gravel. For me, this actually sits low enough that I can use my side imaging sonar, instead of putting it inside the hole and only getting down imaging. It does cause a little bit of drag, but not enough to even deduct a star. I'm actually working on a little bit of a design to put something around it to make it a little bit more smooth and the current. I have a trolling motor on my kayak, so I don't worry about that too much anyway. I miss installed on a ocean big game prowler and a Vibe see ghost 1:30. One thing to mention is when you pull it out, don't forget to push the little button. Lol. The first time I went to remove it I was getting frustrated till my friend realized that there is a button. Holds it very firm, so I don't worry about losing it.

Works great
I’m super happy with this. I leave my boat in the water now and moss grows on everything. I bottom painted the boat but the transducer was still growing moss on it. Now I dock after fishing and raise the transducer out of the water. Perfect. And stays in place at speeds.

Great versatility, and sturdy, but transducer arm connection isn't "universal"
I love that I can move the arm around from the top to the side slot, which is needed for kayaks. It was pretty easy to install the base, but the one problem is the spot to attach the transducer to the arm. I have the Garmin Striker 4 and I needed to by some nylon spacers in order to get the transducer on there securely. The "slip discs" provided didn't work. With those spacers added, it works great and I love the set up in my kayak. Just know that your transducer may not fit on the arm without adding some extra parts.

over the side mount for pointed transducer, unless your creative. mite be to short for 15 in.standard transom.
not mounted yet, came without 3 hex bolts for slide extension, e-mailed scotty and they sent another hardware package to me rite away. note, this is ment to mount over side of boat, if your transducer is pointed and is to face forward, this peg at bottom of arm does not rotate , so the transducer will be sideways if you mount it over back of boat, i eliminated bottom peg and mounted transducer directly to extension arm , this will face transducer , point forward but shortens extension a couple inches which makes it to short for 15 in. transom when mounted on top of transom. mounted on inside of transom makes it lower but curved arm wont fit over 2 in. thick transom, leaving arm out at angle , thus shortening its depth.i remedied the problem with the extra transducer peg that came with the hardware package they sent me when they shorted me the bolts. used the extra bolts and wing nuts to fasten the two pegs together which turns transducer to face forward and get 2 more inches of extension, and i will remove the extra peg to mount it over the side of my inflatable. 14 ft alum. boat, 15 in. transom is what i was using.

Quality product, arm is a little short.
I had to buy two to make this fit. I think there is an extender kit somewhere, but I couldn't find one on Amazon.

Well Made! Easy Installation
Installation was a breeze on a Pelican Bass raider 10e for a hummingbird 196ci , you require your own screws though. Sealed everything with marine sealant for extra measure. Product is well made, shouldn't be any issues if installed correctly.

Pretty sure a used/returned product was sold to me as new
This is one of two items in an order where the product was missing parts on arrival. In this case, when I opened the box it was missing the gear post/neck, plus the associated hand nut and nylock - just those three specific pieces, everything else was there. Looks an awful lot like the previous "owner" ordered this item, grabbed the gear post (+ parts that make it useful) and returned the rest to Amazon. Amazon was very quick about shipping a replacement out to me, and overall the quality of this transducer arm looks great. I'm sure I'll be happy with it once it's installed.
