Wow!

The cooler part is huge. A lot bigger than I expected. Lots of stability. Cooler can be removed from frame for easy cleaning. Folds right up to a small compact size. Kind of like two large pizza boxes on top of eachother but expands to fit a generous sized full picnic lunch for a family of four plus your ice packs plus water bottles worh room to spare. Great Columbia quality.

Better than my Igloo PlayMate in every way

We got this for weekend camping trips and evening beach bonfires, because the hard sided Igloo cooler we've been using for years wasn't really big enough for both food and drinks on those weekend trips. This cooler managed to hold all the refrigerated food we needed for a weekend trip as well as our drinks for the weekend, needed less ice added over time to stay cold, and hardly took up any more space full because the sides are thinner. Add in wheels and the ability to collapse down much smaller for storage and this is a clear improvement. I did return the one I bought unused, but only because I bought it for a camping trip to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out my wife had bought me the same exact cooler, in the same color, as a birthday gift. I did ask whether there was any reason not to buy a new camping frying pan before I ordered, but either I forgot to say "and cooler" or she didn't hear it. Oops!

The cart kept tipping over.

Yesterday was the last day to return the cooler/cart. I am requesting an additional day or two to make the return as I have been out of town and had intended to make the return today. I am not happy with the way this functions and used it only 2 times at the beginning of August. I went out of town in mid August and my intention was to return it today, not realizing yesterday was the last day for return. I received the item on July 29.

Could be great, if it was built just a little better

Upside 1st. I love the size of this rolling, soft sided cooler. It's heavy duty built, which is nice. Now for the downside. The handle doesn't lock into place like it should when fully extended so it's constantly going down on you as you are trying to maneuver it. It also doesn't secure on the base very well. I may buy some bungee cords or something as it's a minor annoyance the way it slides around and doesn't want to stay put as I load/unload it. The heavy, clear plastic/rubber inner lining isn't attached to anything outer than the top rim. So everything gets caught on it. It slides around and you have to adjust it to load the cooler as it's not squared up under the first things you put in. For the price it should do better, but again the actual cooler is sturdy other than the inner lining and should last a long time. The base is also well built, outside of the handle extension not latching.

Telescoping handle does not lock in place

I initially thought my cooler was defective because the telescoping handle does not stay in place when extended, but from other reviews and questions I can see that that is the way the product was manufactured. It is almost impossible to use if you have your hands full with other items (which is generally the case at least for me). I owned a similar cooler previously (the handle locked in place) and I loved it. I would’ve also loved this one, except for the useless handle, which is why I will be returning it.

Fine on a smooth surface

This cooler works fine on very smooth surfaces but not much else. The wheels are small and the unit is not very stable. Don’t buy this car not if you have to transport across dirt or gravel. You would just be better off picking up and carrying instead of constantly righting the cooler.

Keeps falling off

The cooler itself is nice but it should attach better to the wheeled carrier. It slides off to the side. We had to use bungee cords to keep it on there securely. For the price, it should be better than that.

When the price drops from $100 something to $87

First the price was over $100 then it drooped to $87. I thought ok since its cheaper now lets buy it. When I opened the box I was shocked ???? The bag was overused, dirty and the metal support part where the bag sits on was broken. Before ordering it there was no note or any warning that it is an used item. I requested a refund and sent it back asap. I am very disappointed in the company and staff who are being dishonest trying to sell a broken and useless item! My friend has the exact same item and it was brand new and works great. The brand new item works great, looks great. Disappointed in the company and their misleading price drop advertising tactics. Do not fall for that!

Je viens de recevoir la glacière. WOW WOW WOW !!!! Elle est juste : PARFAITE ! La grosseur est idéale, elle se plie, elle se roule, je suis tellement heureuse. De plus, elle est très légère. Je la recommande fortement. I just received the cooler. WOW WOW WOW!!!! It's just: PERFECT! The size is ideal, it folds, it rolls, I'm so happy. Works well except for the velcro straps that are supposed to hold the bag tight to the frame.

The overall design idea is good for keeping things chilled and pulling it on wheels, but the velcro pieces do not meet properly to give a tight fit to prevent the bag from flopping while pulling it. I've had to imrpovise with bungie cords. Gievn the price I was supprised at the poor design and inspection by the manufacturer of the velcro straps that are supposed to hold the bag tight to the frame.

Facilite les déplacements à la plage ou ailleurs

Au départ, je souhaitais l’utiliser à la plage plus précisément mais je m’en sert aussi en camping dehors pour garder les boissons sur glaces et éviter les déplacements à l’intérieur de la roulotte ou pour conserver des homards par exemple en attendant la cuisson et qui prendra trop de place au frigo. Esta bonito y muy práctico cuando lo tienes fijo,pero cuando hay que trasladarlo a algun sitio,como no está fijo (viene con unas cintas de Velcro q son las que se fijan al carrito) se voltea o se va de lado con el peso y hay q estarlo acomodandolo,cuando lo traslade en el vehículo al ir a bajarlo lo encontré volteado y todo el líquido regado por eso lo califico con 2 estrellad
