Best travel purchase

I bought this to stuff into my carry on for a week long beach vacation trip. And man, was this the best purchase for that. We'd pack it with ice, then water/snacks enough for 2 families of 4 (with kids) and it lasted ALL day. Even with the Cancun heat. I've since used it for other purposes. It's so helpful that it folds up, for packing and putting it away purposes. If you're debating, just get it. Trust me.

Decent Little Cooler

I've only used this twice, so I can't give it five stars yet. If I use it a bunch more times and it holds up, I'll try to give it that last star. As it is, I haven't had an issue with this cooler. I wanted something to fit on the seat of a stroller so I could push it around instead of carrying it. This fit perfectly, and while I still used a bungee cord to ensure it didn't fall out of the seat (forwards), I don't know if it would have been totally necessary. For my use, testing it for the first time, I put two bags of ice in it that I bought from a grocery store. Not sure how much ice that was, but the ice with a soda can, a bottled water, and five big thermoses almost filled the cooler. I still had room for some snacks and extra space, but that's all I needed for the day. When I arrived at the ocean, I left the cooler in the back of my black SUV, directly in the sun. I was away from the vehicle for a little over three and a half hours when I came back to grab the cooler and walk to a pizza place on the boardwalk. That took about another twenty minutes. When I opened the cooler, more than half of the ice was still ice and there wasn't much melted. The drinks were still cold and everything was fine. The zippered lid was perfect for leaving the cooler in the stroller and just opening it up to take stuff out. A few hours later of the cooler in the sun pushed around in the stroller and there was still ice in it. There was a lot of melted ice at that point, but I can't fault the cooler for that. It was about 86 degrees for hours and no shade. By the time I left, I poured the water out, but there was still some ice. Maybe about a quarter of the original amount left. All in all, I was satisfied with how long it kept everything cool. Getting it to pop out from its flattened form is easy, and it's easy to "break back down." The handles are nice and have a velcro layer to keep them together, and there's a stretch band to keep it flat when "closed." I didn't use the two side pockets, but they look decent enough for some small things. Importantly, unlike my last cooler, while the ice was melting, it didn't leak. When I poured the water out, that was the first time any escaped. My last cooler would have had a giant puddle under it when the ice melted. As for how much it could hold, I was actually surprised what I could fit. It doesn't seem very big, but it's kind of tall, at least for my stuff. I have a couple of tall thermoses, like the Camelbak Chute found here Thermos. It fit in the cooler without pushing up on the lid, and so did the rest. I had more room than I needed, so next time I'll get more ice. All in all, a decent cooler so far.

Great for holding and moving IP inner pot

This cooler (18.25 x 12.25 x 11.5) was great for carrying the inner stainless steel pot with lid, from an 8-quart Instant Pot. Borrowed my nephew's to take a big pot of chili to my brother's, and liked the cooler so well that I bought myself the exact same cooler. Had enough extra room for crackers and paper bowls and everything else needed for that meal. Will be taking more food that is already cooked in IP inner pot to other places in the future.

Truly is a “clever” product

I purchased two of these to transport casseroles and other foods on a road trip at Thanksgiving. Splitting items in two containers made handling the weight possible for my husband and I. We’re “seasoned” citizens. A word of caution … the melting ice can allow water to end up in your casserole or other containers if they are not well-sealed. These are easy and comfortable to carry, they keep contents cold and they store efficiently due to their collapsible design.

Nice snap-up design

I needed a larger insulated cooler bag for grocery shopping. I need to keep groceries cool, especially in the summer, for at least an hour before I get home, and the cooler bag I previously had wasn't big enough to hold all the refrigerated foods. This one has an interesting snap-down design that can be folded to about 3" flat, with an elastic strap that holds it down when folded. To open it, there are struts that snap upright to give the bag an open box shape. Two hand straps Velcro together to carry it, and there are also side straps to hold it from the sides. The only feature missing is a shoulder strap, which would have been nice. The upright snapping corner struts look like they will last with gentle use, but aren't really heavy duty.

It had a good 4 year run

After 4 years of light use… it fold up small and the mechanism to lock the sides open work flawlessly. Unfortunately our cat got in it just yesterday and scratched a hole in the bottom. So now it leaks. Filled with ice on a hot day it would least for the better part of the day. But spectacular… as you would expect from a thin walled cloth cooler.

Used once so far and like it a lot!

Very cute, practical and amazingly roomy. Great for an overnighter or if you are headed to an accommodation where a refrig /freezer is available to transfer items. We used to to haul items about 2.5hrs away to cottage rental--perfect!

Do not use as a cooler - the melting ice leaks out the bottom and makes a terrible mess.

We use this primarily for when BBQing on the roof of our condo. For this function it is perfect because it keeps drinks and dips cool - and also provides enough storage for other items we need to move with us. That said, the first time we decided to fill it up with ice (last weekend) - as the ice melted, the cold water was slowly leaking out of the bottom of the cooler making a terrible mess and it was a disappointing surprise to us. The sell page says "leak proof" and this is certainly not leak proof. We will continue to use it for when we're BBQing items and travelling with meat and dips and some bottled drinks, but I would never use it again for filling up with ice or using it as a cooler.
