Nothing wrong with them, just false advertising.

I’m happy that I got a full set of blocks but they advertised something different than what they send. They advertise the kind of blocks that have many notches but the ones they sell are really thick and spaced out. Nothing wrong with the blocks, they just sell different blocks than advertised.

1st of all this is not like the picture

1st of all this is not like the picture. The one I got is all aluminum rail with no bottom bracket. A couple of spice holes became threaded after 3 weeks of practice 3 days a week. Plus the slots are every 1 inch not every inch. This is a good block for beginners not advanced users. The spikes will need to be swapped out for 1/4 because they come in 1/2. I should of did that from the beginning but I just ran with what was already shipped. It is a good block for novice users because it is light and simple to set. The nylon bearings hold the peg on the back foot pedals well. The down side is that there is only 1 metal pin attach the pedal to the rail so you will get some play for athletes over 150 lbs. 2 Stars for Advanced users. 4 Stars For Novice users.

2nd Shippment and Still Items Missing

Just like to say that placed an order for these starting blocks for my daughter lated December 2010. First shipment only received chrome plate bar, emailed regarding this and new set on there way....great we thought, excellent service and replacement on there way. This morning they arrrive only to find the same thing has happened only received the chrome plate bar, I guess nobody is checking what is inside the box before sending them out.....very disappointed as the remaining parts to these two sets of blocks must be some where! Received email back to say will receive a refund for this....which will be great to get the refund. But because we live on the other side of the world it is very hard to buy starting blocks. I really thought someone might of looked further into this matter to find out where the rest of the parts are......maybe all the boxes are missing parts!

Good Blocks

The studs on the bottom are nice and sharp and keep planted in the ground. Other then that, they are track blocks.

I purchased these blocks so that my daughter did not have to go without when the high school team forget to pack their own. They are high quality. The base is showing some rust due to the steel. They are fully adjustable for foot incline and are every bit comparable to the blocks @ the high school...except ours has our name on them.

Champion Starting Blocks

Starting blocks are great! Set up is easy and fast. I just wish that there was somewhere on the blocks to secure or store the pins and post.

Excellent - exactly what I needed!

This is exactly what I needed. It is heavy and does not need the assistance of another person holding the blocks. The spikes on the bottom were already attached to make for easy assembly. The shipment came quickly and intact.
