Seems to be good quailty
I've not had a chance to try this tool yet. Too cold. Numerous people have mentioned that the magnets fall out of similar jigs made of plastic. This brass jig has the magnets very well mounted. Have checked how square and parallel the tool is, and for the measurement tools I have it appears dead on. I bought this for my Jet 8" planer jointer. I figured out that I can use the mounting bolts for the exhaust manifold (planing mode mount) to hold the jig to the aluminum outfeed plate. Looking forward to giving this a try. The tool provided from Jet is next to useless, takes forever to align even one blade. I'll try to remember to edit this later after I've used it to say how it worked..

This is the jig to get for setting jointer knives
Can’t say enough about this jig, it does the job perfectly. I struggled getting my knives all aligned and at the same heights on my 20 year old Jet 6” jointer, as the gib bolts are rounded on the end and tend to creep upwards when tightened. The solid brass billets this jig is made of prevent that entirely. Skip the less expensive models made of plastic — folks complain they flex and result in more trial and error. Not so with the BigHorn! In 15 minutes I had all three knives at the same height and within .001” end to end as verified with a dial indicator. Compare that with struggling over multiple weekends trying to do so manually and STILL have them out of whack. I wish I bought this jig before I ever tried to replace my knives, it would have saved me hours of time and frustration.

heavy and accurate
this is really nice, and SOOOOO much better than the plastic one everybody sells. I had to really search for a substantial brass one like this, but it was totally worth it. My blades are perfect now, and they definitely weren't before with the plastic job, or with free magnets, or a steel straight edge. This one has fat heavy brass rails with good strong magnets. Takes me about ten minutes now, or less, and it's always dead on. Because it's brass, you can push on the jig itself when you're tightening the gib screw to keep the blade from rising a few thousands of an inch the way they always do. This is very clear advantage.

Took work to make it usable.
Two of the 6 magnets were proud of the surface as delivered. I had to drill a hole from the top to punch them out, deepen the countersink, and press them back in. Then I had to spend a fair bit of time lapping them flat. One bar had a rocker in it about 2 thou. I didn’t find the scribed alignment lines offset face to face as some buyers have.

Don't waste your money
Just because something has some heft, doesn't make it good quality. This was pretty much worthless. Not only did it not help set the knife height, but the front and back of the knife were about 2 mm off on the travel test. So I had to set my knives the old fashion way anyway, using a mm straight edge and ensuring my travel was about 6mm for each blade. It's also pretty much impossible to know if you're perfectly parallel with your outfeed table, as there is a gap of space between the piece that rides on your table, and the one that hold the blades up (the silver rods do not touch the table).

Product works very well. I was able to set ...
Product works very well. I was able to set my blades within about .003" of each other and the out-feed table. Only issue I had was the instructions. They make the setup and use of the product more complicated then it needed to be; a few steps seemed pointless and I omitted them with no impact on the results.

Could be better.
Works! I feel it should be sell with a case! Some tile of storage case/box would be great.

Not usable
Poor workmanship on this jig. One of the magnets is not flush and protrudes so this device can not be used. I contacted Big Horn on their website but they did not bother to get back to me. Guess they don't care. I defiantly can not recommend this knife setting jig or any Big Horn product because they have no customer service.
