This is wildly important for pocket joinery. Well made and incredibly useful.
This holds your parts securely, allowing you to insert screws without things slipping out of alignment.

Get bigger if working with 2x4s
This clamp is a great value for the money. The main issue is the size is made to tight tolerances, so when working with 2x4s the clamp is at the extent of its range which sometimes allows the retention system to fall out. Not the biggest deal, but does slow down work a bit. Once in place the clamp is rock solid. For smaller wood sizes, this clamp will be perfect.

Pocket hole clamp
I have found that a pocket hole clamp would be handy after a couple of projects utilizing pocket holes however it’s not necessary with an assortment of bar clamps as long as your project isn’t too big. Finding this clamp at almost half the cost of the other brand was enough to warrant the purchase. I had read some reviews that the bar portion should be slightly angled for inserting into the pocket hole along with others stating that their pocket holes where damaged due to the clamp. I haven’t encountered any issues regarding design or performance when using this clamp. This product operates the same as traditional vise grips utilizing a twist knob at the bottom of the handle to adjust pressure. It goes without saying that it would be very easy to damage pocket holes with a lot of force. As far as the angled bar is concerned, I found success inserting the bar portion of the clamp into the pocket hole prior to clamping and experienced no issues when removing the clamp. I will say that I haven’t used this with anything smaller than 2 by lumber.

Rock Solid IMHO
Bought the name brand clamp, because, hey my jig is from that big name brand, it broke the first time I tried to use it. Checked on Amazon for an alternative. When I saw these, noticed the adjustment and lock are same tried and true style of, well, every vice grips on the market, and that immediately told me they'd be a much more reliable choice. Bought 2, because when you have 1 you wish you had 2. Was surprised by the cost savings, the other one was 50% more than these. And who can afford to pay more for something to break the first time you try to use it. So better cost, better reliability, less frustration, less apologizing to the wife that the clamp you just had to have broke... It's an all around win. If you use pocket holes, use this clamp.

Strong - maybe too strong
I'm glad I bought this, as hand/finger pressure alone won't keep your pocket hold joinery in place when assembling. However, it can definitely split wood if you're not careful with the pressure applied. You have to slightly adjust the tension for each placement, but once in, it will really hold your pocket hole in place so you can secure others. Definitely "does what it says it does." Keep in mind that the price on this isn't all that advantageous to your classic/well known pocket joinery toolers, so you may want to stick within the family at the cost of a few bucks, if you really trust the originals.

Much better alternative to the name brand right angle clamp.
I was hesitant to buy this clamp due to no reviews, however there were enough bad reviews on the Kreg right angle clamp to scare me away. This clamp was also cheaper, which is nice. The clamp arrived in great condition, and it works great! Yes, you have to adjust the clamping force for different sized materials, but it is very simple and easy to adjust. I also found that it only takes a little bit of pressure to hold your pieces in place...too much clamping force and you start to damage the pocket hole. The clamp itself seems to be well made and has a beefy grip. I've only used it a few times, but I will update my review if I ever have any issues. The right angle clamp is my new favorite tool for woodworking...makes joinery so much easier. I wish I would have bought one of these years ago!

Clamp was great, but the shipping wasn't
The Milescraft 4004 clamp is very sturdy and works well. I have zero complaints about the clamp itself. It works well when clamping pocket holes to hold everything in alignment when attaching the screws. I would have given the clamp itself five stars but gave four due to the fact it took forever for the clamp to arrive. I ordered another item at the same time and it came more than a week earlier than the clamp. This certainly wasn't the clamp's fault so if you need a quality pocket hole clamp, Milescraft 4004 is the way to go.

Indispensable for pocket-hole joinery!
This tool is a pocket-hole assembly game-changer - seriously. If you plan to use pocket-hole joinery on even a semi-regular basis, I highly recommend buying this clamp. Coupled with a square, this will make life so much easier in aligning the joint. Of course, it only works with 90° joints, but that's probably 90% of the joints I use pocket-holes for. Also, keep in mind that it will not work for a joint where you have only one pocket-hole drilled out, as the clamp itlsef needs a hole! I've used the Kreg version and this works just as well, at a better price point. You won't regret this purchase!
