Love these cards - loved them so much I give them as gifts
I'm the occasional card player, and I wanted some cool cards to use for my next game night. These have not disappointed. They have a linen finish and are very silky in terms of handling. If you flop the stack down, the cards will slide a little. And the artwork! Oh the artwork! I love looking at the images of the famous buildings. Each suit covers buildings/structures from a different time period. And though the building drawings are great, they are minimalist enough that you can still clearly see the suits, numbers, etc and play a normal game with them. I find that these cards are great to give as gifts, particularly when you can't or don't want to spend a lot (like in office white elephant holiday gift exchanges). They are novel so people get a kick out of them, even though they aren't expensive. If you like architecture or novelty cards, give them a try.

Attractive cards with four eras by suit
An attractive selection of landmark architecture with each suit covering a different period. Diamonds: 1950 to present. Spades: 1900 to 1950. Clubs: 1000 to 1900. Hearts: Pre-1000.

magical trigger
Love that each card features a different wonder and the overall quality. Some people (such as seniors) use cards as a dexterity tool. Seeing a familiar image can trigger happy memories associated with previous travels. The joy of reliving those places and events is magical. More please!

Favorite Deck for Architecture Fans
I really love the style of this set and have enjoyed playing with them. They do a great job of including international architecture, not just US centric, as well as cultural treasures (such as the Rapa Nui moai). Some minor factual mistakes, such as stating that the FLW Robie House is in Oak Park rather than Hyde Park. About as durable as normal quality playing cards. Mine are showing wear now after a couple months of casual play. Enjoying them thoroughly.

Nice Product with a Design Almost Too Busy
Great quality card stock with a design we thought clever, educational and attractive. All of which is true. However, for us seniors, we found the graphics a bit too noisy which detracted from relaxed gin rummy rounds. Plus, it's compelling to want to rotate discards so the architectural wonders all point in the upright position.

Unique artworks
An interesting pack of cards, made to USPC's usual high standards, air cushioned and perfectly serviceable for any game one might care to play. Which is entirely beside the point, because what you are really getting is a set of miniature art works to pore over, in a snazzy gold-foiled and embossed case. Suitable for fans of slick graphic design and architecture, which is me on both counts. They're quite pricey for what you get, but also a unique product, so I can't find it in myself to withhold a star.

Si tratta di un mazzo di carte prodotte da Bicycle, brand molto apprezzato dagli intenditori e che non ha certo bisogno di presentazione. Le carte rappresentano gli Architectural Wonders of The World, sono davvero stupende ma allo stesso tempo talmente "particolari"...da non poter essere utilizzate come mazzo unico primario. Molti collezionisti le hanno incorniciate all'interno di un quadro espositivo... PERCHE' SI: 1. spedizione flash! 2. Al tatto risulteranno meravigliose. 3. Esteticamente straordinarie. 4. Scorrono lisce e veloci. 5. Prezzo di appena 6 euro. 6. Saranno una vera goduria per i collezionisti. 7. Impermeabili. PERCE' NO: 1. Difficilmente potrete utilizzarle come mazzo principale. Meraviglioso mazzo di carte per collezionisti e regalo
Prodotto unico e di qualità: le carte sono leggermente più sottili e più scivolose di alcuni set Bicycle. L'oro e l'inchiostro nero sono belli e intricati. Le carte sono ben progettate e artistiche. Ho dato 4 stelle invece di 5 perché, secondo me, alcuni dei siti architettonici utilizzati non sono le migliori scelte mondiali, in termini di design o significato.

Las mejores cartas para sentir hasta que viajas
Me encantaron La calidad es muy buena, algo normal de esta marca, pero me encantó desde que la caja por dentro tiene los diseños de varios lugares y sobre todo las cartas, TODAS son distintas. Es casi como una lista de los lugares que uno debe conocer, dan ganas de viajar a ese lugar y tomar una foto de la carta contra la arquitectura del lugar. 100% recomendable

Bicycle Kartenspiele sind für ihre Qualität bekannt, das Deck erfüllt aus dieser Hinsicht alle Erwartungen. Optisch ein absoluter Hingucker, wunderschön illustrierte Gebäude, auf jeder Karte ein anderes, jede Farbe ist einer bestimmten Zeit zugeordnet (z.B. Pik = 1900-1950). Auch zum Spielen geeignet, auch wenn sie dafür fast schon zu schade sind. Nach kurzer Zeit hat man sich daran gewöhnt dass die Symbole nur an den Ecken sind und nicht mittig auf den Karten (wie es bei den meisten anderen Kartenspielen ist).
