work good

what i like is light + easy to use + detect better than pipointer + small object like ring over 15 cm deep and big object like cup of metal over 25 - 30 cm , it is a good a product but i wait better what i dislike is false positive detection when you have bad battry level or when you move your hand faster to any target . you must move your hand slowly to skip false detection . they can make this tool better if they - stop false positive detection - try to make deeper more over 40 cm for small object - i know that the tool is ON not need to see green light it consume energy thats all the tool Work fine about the start i give 4/5 stars thanks

Great budget metal detector for those random times you need one

You might have to tweak the sensitivity a bit to get it to your liking. I used this to find buried property marker rebar. The first thing it alerted to was a small piece of aluminum, so this detector is pretty sensitive to all metal. I can't give a complete rating yet, but it seems to be the real deal. It isn't comfortable being on hands and knees with this for extended periods of time. But for the price, it seems to be the best limited use metal detector available. Edit: I have used this long enough that I am confident to give this a final rating of 5*. It finds metal near the surface very well. It will go off if you hit the detector into the ground with any kind of force or make forceful contact with vegetation, so be careful not to make strong contact with anything. You have to hover a few inches off the ground. I wouldn't use this to search for buried treasure 12" deep, but for metal near the surface it works like a dream. No false alarms; when I dig I find something metallic - often old pop tops or random strands of barbed wire. The only negative is that this requires you to bend over to hover it near the ground and that can take a toll on your back. I wouldn't use this for a hobby - just as a functional way to find metal on infrequent occasions. Overall, this is the best bang for the buck out there. Just keep in mind that there is a lot of metal out there so if it seems to be alerting to a false positive, you need to be sure there isn't a tiny screw or piece of metal there before concluding that the detector isn't working correctly.

It won’t stop beeping, and you have to pay for shipping for a return. I don’t recommend this item.

Inexpensive but works well.

I bring this along in my pack for day hikes and use at campsites and other areas something might have been dropped. Obviously not for use for any significant length of time unless you like bending over.

Works as described

I bought this as it was the cheapest tool availaible to look for a surveryor marker. I didn't find the marker and it may not even posssibly exist in my case. However, this was able to find a bottle cap buried under the lawn, it detected rebar and broken prices of sprinker pipe easily. It is a good tool to keep around in case you ever drop something on the lawn or even some small metal object in shag carpet. Instead of spending hours looking for it you can use this tool. The on thing I dont like is the battery cover seems flaky. Unscrewing it was not easy and seems prone to break easily IMO. Also, it didnt come with a 9V, which is required for operation.

Great sensitivity. This was the third hand held detector I tried and the only one which found my drill bit lost in some weed.
