Great product; disappointed there was no hole in lid
Great quality glass jar. Disappointed there was no hole in the lid and had to drill my own. Per reviews seems like the lid you get varies as some got theirs with the hole and some without. Great jar especially for the price though!

Nice quality
This jar does truely hold a gallon ! Plus it's not so huge that it's hard to handle . not too heavy or too lightweight ! I actually use it to store water in and I love it !! Easy pour for water :)

There's a hole in the lid for fermentation
This is a basic gallon jar. My only issue is that there's a 1/2" diameter hole in the lid for fermentation. The website didn't show this clearly. I don't want a hole. Unfortunately, I have an immediate need for the jar, and cannot wait to return and order a different jar, so I'm using seran wrap to cover the hole for my project. Aside from that unwanted surprise, it's seems to be a good gallon jar. Shipped well packaged to ensure it doesn't arrive broken.

Can't do better. It's exactly as described and works well. I'm brewing with two of these now. They're easy to clean, and the very wide opening allows for easy scoby handling. Easy to clean.
