2 piece flagpole

I put these on my boat trailer so I can see where it is while I'm backing the truck. The two piece is nice because I take off the top half as I'm going down the road, but the connecting section broke on one of my flags.

Handy and Useful

It is not clear from the description, but the light on the end of the flag stalk flashes when the flag moves. Since it is mounted on a spring, the flag will blink when you pass over any kind of bump. I have also found that in dim light, I can reach back and shake the flag a little to alert a car approaching from behind. I don't recommend making this your only light though! Most states require a steady or blinking rear light at night (and a white light in front). I think it's a great idea to have the flag on a stalk aimed to the traffic side, and would like to see this become a standard item for commuting cyclists.

Great flag for an 18 inch boys bike

The flag makes a huge difference in being able to see my 4 year old riding down the street. He has an 18 inch boys mountain bike. He just learned how to ride a 2-wheeler so the bike is often crashing down either with him or on it's own as he jumps off and leaves it to go run off and play. However, the flag has not snapped off. I ordered 2 more for some of his friends. The first time it arrived in a triangle shaped box with padding. The new ones just arrived in a plastic bag! I was not happy about this as one flag has a small hole in it. (The flag is just plastic) Thus the 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

It seems a little flimsy and the light comes on/off for no apparent reason. The light unscrews though so I removed it. It sits nicely on my panniers and is the perfect size. I'd pay more if it were a carbon fibre pole or something better than the plastic. It swivels up which is nice. 4/5 stars from me!

A Little Too Small

This product gets a lot of attention from other bikers....but it is too small to get the attention of vehicles. The red light is hard to see during the day. The flag is too small to be noticed and the unit is a bit smaller than we anticipated. I will keep using this on my bike, because every little bit helps, but will not buy one for my husbands bike.

Good for the bucks

Flag arrived on time and well packed. Works great on cart. Only con is that it does not come with a complete attachment bracket. Have to use wire or the wraps.

This flag is a good addition to my kids big wheel. The big wheel is a popular choice for riding around the block and I worried that a car might miss the low to the ground big wheel on the sidewalk...this flag helps make it more visible. I like the color and the fact we could make it half the height.

It will break, but here's how to fix it

As mentioned before, it will break (100% - bank on it) at the plastic sleeve that connects the 2 rods, but what I liked about it was that when you remove the flag, it has a more subtle plastic lime yellow ball at the end - I use this to guide parking, so I don't need a big flag, etc. I did not find that a 1/16 - 3 inch brass nipple fixed this (and they're hard to find - had to order). A 1/8 inch MIP x 2 inch brass pipe nipple did the trick and this is at Home Depot et al - bring it with you to test the fit.

Couldn't attach it. :-(

Garbage, I regret buying it...Not sure how I would return it. If I have time I'll figure that out. Doesn't appear that it could attach to any bike, it's really not workable, I don't think. The screw is too short and hard to turn. The space to clasp doesn't seem to be wide enough to attach to any part of my bike. Also the staff of the flag doesn't seem flexible enough to be a bike flag....it is stiff, not like other bike flags I've had or seen. Seems poorly designed.

Junk

Parts fell off after a few weeks' use (LED light). Cheaply built, not anywhere near worth the money. I would highly discourage purchasing this item, and would actually encourage Amazon to remove it from its store. I wished I had browsed through the reviews as it seems to be a shared view...

getting too expensive

I really like this product. I wish it was more portable, that I was able to clip on and clip off as needed. I am shocked to see that it is $30 ! I bought it for $20 last year - but it was $17 when I first viewed it. I was going to order another one for a second bike, but not at this price. Also, the flag will ravel when you have it on your bike, on the back of your car - the wind does wear it down. Would I recommend it ? Not for $30.

Befestigung nicht brauchbar - sofort gebrochen - Plastik halt

Leider nach der Befestigung sehr schnell abgebrochen - ohne großen Druck - absolut nicht empfehlenswert wegen der Plastikhalterung☹ Der eine Stern ist für die Fahne selber, geht ja auch nicht ohne Stern....
