Bird watching
Very cute game with excellent art. It’s a filler game so don’t go looking for something heavy, but it is fun. The end scoring is a bit weird in that each card is halved and rounded up instead of all the cards of that color. And the cards are not linen finished. Two small gripes but otherwise very enjoyable.

Excellent card game!
We love Piepmatz! Lots of fun and easy to learn/teach. The designers did an excellent job in game play and artwork.

NOT IN A TIN!
Arrived this morning. The game was shrink-wrapped. Once opened, I found two decks of cards (each wrapped) side by side within the box. The box is heavyweight cardboard - but absolutely not a tin. This listing should be amended to specify box type. Having only opened it within this hour, I have not yet played the game.

Excellent game of difficult choices
There's several things that are great about this game-- the choices are really tight. You have to play a card to one of the two or three (depending on player count) perches every turn, but you only have four cards to choose from, so the options can be pretty limited. You want to get that high value seed card, or that bird on the perch that will net you big points, but there may be a price to pay in the process-- or maybe you just don't have the card you need to do that. A really great game with a nice theme and artwork.

A sweet little card game
I really like this game, it is not a difficult game to teach. It has good a bit of strategy to it. Definitely a keeper for me.

Fun Game
This is a fun game, I like the way it makes you try to outsmart your opponent. I didn't like how long it took to learn how to play however. I would recommend this game to anybody that has a friend or two and wants to have some fun!

Great little card game
I was pleasantly surprised by how much did I enjoy this game. It reminds me to the game arboretum, but I like Piepmatz much more

Great little game for fans of Arboretum or Parade
Fun little card collecting game that is sort of like a cross between Arboretum and Parade, but different enough from both to be a worthy addition. Works well at 2, 3 and 4 players. The theme is what makes this game stand out though, since it’s sooo well integrated with the game. You’re playing around a central bird feeder, collecting breeding pairs of male/female birds, scoring points with birdseed and eggs - but watch out for the crow and squirrel who will scare the birds away from the feeder and steal your birdseed! The cards are classic and beautiful. They look really Black Forest-y in style (think Ye Olde German beer garden, but with birds!) and each card has the name of the bird written in both English and German. Recommended for those who love card collecting games, as well as bird enthusiasts, fans of all things German, and anyone who likes nature themed games. PS. Gents, this would make a lovely little gift for the wife :)
