Great quality, excellent customer service.

The quality of this exercise ball is excellent and perfect for my current fitness needs. The material is thick and does not feel flimsy. The pump is easy to use. The package also comes with two air plugs in case you happen to lose one or break one. Bintiva also has phenomenal customer service! I ordered the purple 55cm exercise ball and when I opened up the package the ball looked oddly oval-shaped. I thought maybe this is just how it looks folded up, so I proceeded to inflate it 80% per the included instructions. The instructions said to leave it at 80% for the first day but after a full 24 hours, it still looked oval. So I left it for another day in hopes that it would take on a more spherical shape over time. After a full 48 hours at 80%, I inflated the ball fully only to find that it was still a huge oval. I attempted to use it anyway but found that it would roll around to the side in awkward ways since it wasn't perfectly round. Bintiva had emailed me about my purchase asking if I had any questions. I eventually replied and let them know the situation. By the next day they had apologized for the poor first product and confirmed that a new ball was being shipped to me as a replacement. The replacement just arrived and it is definitely the right shape this time. So if you get a defective product, just let them know promptly and they will be sure to replace it.

Highly recommend; but check the height before you buy.

I LOVE this. I bought it in my third trimester of pregnancy, and if you are pregnant and don't have one, you MUST buy it NOW. I didn't really buy into the "pregnancy must haves" for the most part, but this one was one of them. We are on a limited budget and this was worth it. I am 5'9", and bought the 65 cm height. I think I would probably buy the 75cm if I was to go back and do it again. It's absolutely great for when you can't get comfortable on the couch or bed. When my back was hurting I would lean over it and roll gently, and it definitely helped stretch things out so I was in less pain. Also, it's really good for prenatal exercises. Sitting on it helped my hips, and i would bounce on it every evening, to strengthen everything for labor. I like that it came with a pump, and inflates easily. It felt very sturdy, and I was never concerned about it popping or getting torn. The only con is that it's somewhat difficult to get the pin out if you want to add more air or deflate it. It comes with a little plastic tool that's supposed to help, but I didn't find that very useful and usually had to use a flathead screwdriver to pry the pin up. I'm excited to start using it now for other exercises and to strengthen my post-baby core.

Great value exercise ball

OK, there are several negative reviews out there... and I read them all before purchasing. I was tight on money, and this fit my budget. The ball arrived on time as promised. Upon opening the box, the first thing I did was 'sniff' the material to see if there was an bad/toxic odor smell... nothing. There was NO smell what so ever from the material. I unfolded the ball and did a quick inspection, everything was perfectly fine. Now on to the pump, it is the only reason it's not a 5 star rating. The pump is a bit on the flimsy side, but it definitely gets the job done. I ordered the 75 cm ball as I am 6'2" and intend on using this for my office chair. Once inflated, I inspected the ball for any visible signs of defects, nothing. The ball fully inflated to the desired 75 cm size with no issues. I let the ball sit for a day to allow it to normalize from being folded in the package. I weigh 260 lbs, and I have used the ball several times over the last few days with no issues. This ball is exactly what I needed, in my budget, and it works. This is really more along the lines of a 4.5 star rating, again, the pump is a bit flimsy, but it got the job done and I would buy this product again.

Make sure you check the sizing chart

I bought the ball in the 75cm size based on reviews and answers to questions as I didn't see a sizing chart anywhere. There is a sizing chart and if you can't find it I will post it here. 5'0" - 5'6" -- 55cm / 22" ball 5'7" - 6'1" -- 65cm / 26" ball 6'2" - 6'7" -- 75cm / 30" ball Please note: The above guidelines are merely suggestions, many factors such as size of your legs or torso can alter your individual size. Consult with your yoga instructor, therapist, or midwife to determine the size that is best for you. I am 5'6ish (in the past year I have had 3 different doctors tell me 3 different measurements from 5'5 to 5'6, as a teen I was told I was 5'6 so that is what I am sticking with.) Anyway 75 cm is huge, I unpacked the thing and started to blow it up, it didn't take long to realize that it was way, way too big, even for my husband who is 5'10. I returned it as quickly as I could and a refund has been issued though it has yet to show up on my account (it's only been a day so I am not worried). I will be re-ordering this ball in a much smaller size. The quality and ease of setting it up are fantastic, it is simple and the instructions are clear, the only thing I would like to see added is what 70% (or is it 80%...) of the full size is. Anyway the ball seems to be made from a high quality, durable material and the only problem I had was with sizing. When my 55cm ball gets here I will review it since it seems that size ball would be best for a person my size. I do recommend this ball and hope that my review will prevent someone else from making my mistake.

Not great

I don't know if mine was faulty, but it's much more of an oval shape than a sphere which isn't great, and it started losing air straight away. I have to pump it up every day to use it, and if I use it a lot I have to pump it up midway though a session! Not ideal at 36 weeks pregnant. Just hoping the hospital has their own one.
