Good quality

So far no problems. Good quality. I don’t buy any other brands than amazonbasics. Trusted and works with my Apple devices without getting notice it’s unsupported. Cords last even after thousands of bends. Love the braiding and the flexibility of the cord. Other brands can be really stiff.

Not for oculus 2

I bought it for my oculus 2 but so far it refuses to connect to my pc. Ut won’t even power it while docked to my pc. Im keeping it to charge my other equipment. But seriously i do not recommend for oculus vr.

Durable and Fast

My primary reason for this purchase was to maximize data transfer speeds to my Galaxy s9 Phone with a SanDisk SD Card. I already have a ton of cables of varying quality levels, but have been spending a ton of time transferring music to my phone, and wanted to make sure to be as efficient as possible. I don't have actual specs, but the difference is significant. Moving gigs of music I went from hours to minutes compared to an unrated cheap cable in a USB 3 port. I actually haven't really tested charging speed, but I typically only use higher quality cables anyway, so I can charge my Galaxy s9 phone quite fast in general. I provided a picture next to another popular brand. The beige cable is this item. Let me preface by saying I am extremely pleased with the quality and general performance of the other (red) cable as well, it just doesn't have the same data transfer rating. I provided the picture just for scale so you could see the thickness, the red cable is no slouch especially compared to non-braided cables. The cable itself is thicker than any cable I've ever purchased before. Not that the outside thickness is really an indication of the copper thickness inside, the cable is too stiff to be wrapped around for example your finger without major effort like you might with some earbuds or something. I don't think I would wrap it in a loop any smaller than 5 inches or so without putting what I feel like strain on it. The plugs fit snugly in the phone and my usb ports, and the sleeves at the base of the plugs are very durable plastic with basically no flex, protecting what is one of the major points of failure in a cable like this. I used to buy cheap cables in bulk and would find myself throwing them away on a regular basis. I expect with proper care this cable will last a very long time, so I can easily rationalize a premium price. Unlike other cables that I think nothing about wrapping, tying, throwing, and cramming into small places for travel, I would not recommend this cable as your travel cable. It isn't too flexible, I don't think it would be great as your regular car charger cable either. This will stay by my PC or go in my laptop bag. It has a convenient velcro loop on the cable so you can wrap it up for storage. As a side note, I don't really know how pinouts on these things work, but I had a USB-C to USB-C cable for a disk drive adapter that didn't fit quite well in my PC. I switched to this cable and used a USB port instead, and my adapter functioned perfectly with no noticeable time increase for formatting drives. In conclusion, this isn't your regular disposable charging cable. If you are looking to maximize data transfer speeds, I highly recommend this one. At the time of my purchase, it was one of the better values for its particular rating.

Great long cable, for some reason it doesn't indicate fast charging but does indeed charge fast.

I bought this to use with my meta quest 2 and it works perfectly, no lag or anything. I recommend getting this if you're planning on connecting it to your PC.

Great charger. My bunny likes to chew on them but the thickness is great I used cord protectors but it still can hold its own on the parts that not protected. Also I like the length.

Oculus Quest link compatible

Very Strong nice looking cable looks like it will last forever. Very pleased charged phone no problem. Works perfect for Oculus Quest link. The cable is fairly thick. However played oculus games and steam vr games no problem with this cable. Very well built cable. Remember if you are thinking of questing with it it is slightly thick and rigid but I still think its great. 3 Meter cable at least essential for Quest I see one user says it does not work with Quest ! It really does I'm not a fake reviewer and it works on my laptop and my desktop with quest. I have several other cables that dont . This was does and works well may be a little on the stiff side but it really works . This is not fake information. There must be an issue with the USB on users machines who do not work remember it must be a usb 3 socket to work

Excellent quality

I was looking for a decent length USB 3 A to C cable ready for Oculus Link next month and after hours of searching I came across this one. It was delivered in perfect condition on time (prime) in the usual simple amazon basics packaging. It did come with a branded Velcro tie which was a nice touch. First impression was that it was THICK. This does make it a bit stiff but for me this was a good indicator of durability. So far I've used it to charge power banks and transfer files from a gopro and it performed as expected, no issues at all. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a decent good value USB a to c cable. Update: Works great with oculus link

Absolutely, the best cable satisfaction ever

This cable has convinced me to put my money with AmazonBasics rather than Anker where there are like-for-like products. Firstly, the thickness, finish 'weight' to this cable are all utterly premium. It looks classy, so much so that it's almost a shame that it has the word 'basic' attached to the brand! Perhaps AmazonEssential or AmazonElite would be better. I digress. The charging and data speeds are all extremely reliable, more so than my equivalent Anker cables; some of my devices take issue with some 1.8m Anker cables, and whilst I'm sure Anker can't be totally at blame, those same devices charge at full speed every time with this cable! My fiancé has a very expensive phone, and we kitted her out with Anker's most expensive cables and charger, but honestly, I will be going with AmazonBasics when they have the equivalent cables and charger. It is arguable that this cable looks just as premium as any of Anker's cables, but (and an important but), but it feels 100% certainly more sturdy. So arguably as premium, but definitely more sturdy than Anker's. I'm sold, thank you!

Close but depends on what you want.

I needed a short cable for my Car to use Android Auto. It does the job with charging my phone in the car, but due to Android Auto being very choosy on what cable you use, it refused to work. Other than that, the cable seems to be good quality and well built. I do like the braided design and gives a robust feel. I feel this length of cable is ideal for car use, and maybe someone else will have better luck in getting it to work with their phones. I can recommend, but not for what I bought it for.

Works great with Oculus Link!

After Oculus Link got released, I was looking for a decent length USB C cable that would work with it. Of course the 3m cable Oculus recommended sold out almost instantly and the 2m version I bought was too short so I went looking for some alternatives and can safely say that this one works extremely well, no issues what so ever since I started using this. The cable is braided and feels well made which is always a plus. Good job, Amazon. Note that if you're also looking to use Oculus Link it's quite fussy about the USB ports it works with. e.g. It works fine with my motherboard's built-in Intel Z270 based USB 3.0 ports, however it does not work with the ASMedia ASM2142 chipset based USB 3.1 ports it has. If you're using a long (e.g. 5m) extension cable too, make sure you get an active extender that provides the option to plug in a power adapter as you'll likely need to do this for it to work properly/not disconnect I have found.
