Perfect Water Pot! I Use This Many Times A Day!
I love how fast the water heats up with this very stylish water pot! I warn you that if you let the water pot just go until it shuts off the water will be "Very Very Hot"! I push down the on tab to start the water heating up and I will feel the pot to see how hot it is and when it feels right for me, I just lift up the pot and it shuts off. If you walk away from the pot and forget about it no worries because it will shut off on its own.. I'm so glad we got this because it's something we use daily, for coffee, tea, hot cocoa, cup of ramen and so many other items! Enjoy the Ease...

Love this! Tea in seconds.
I drink tea a lot and, having just returned from Korea where an electric tea kettle is a must in every household, I knew I needed to get one. The water heats up very quickly and it's fun to watch it boil, too. I also love that it's small and fits neatly under the cupboard (a larger one would not). It's just the right amount for me--probably can get three cups or four cups of tea out of it. I don't ever mind refilling it so I haven't really measured, but I think it's great and would recommend it.

Great for my single household
I live by myself and mainly make a cup of coffee at a time. The size of this works well for me. To make a large pot of tea I need to fill and boil twice. It heats quickly. I have not had this for long enough to gauge longevity. The kettle itself seems sturdy. The weak point, if any, seems to be the spring loaded lid and its lock mechanism. They work great new, but I wonder how they will perform after hundreds or thousands of uses. The kettle smelled new when it arrived. I washed it out with soap, boiled some water, drained it, and let it stand open overnight. There are no more smells, the water tastes as it should.

A great surprise!
I haven't had great luck with kettles. The design is usually boring, or the kettle is too big and takes up space. I didn't have high expectations for the kettle however, I was pleasantly surprised. This kettle is perfect! The size is not too big or bulky. It has a sleek look. The temperature control is simple, simply push the handle down, and in less than a minute, the water is boiling.

Great product, but hot to the touch
This kettle heats 1.5 liters in about a minute! It heats up until the water boils for a few seconds, and then it automatically shuts off. I love it. The only thing is, it is very hot to the touch. Be sure to only touch the handle or the top, but not the sides. Also, it has a handy window on the side so you can see how full you are filling it. I recommend not filling it over 1.5 liters, which is enough for 3 good-sized cups of tea. You can also throw a tea bag inside and then let it steep in the kettle for 5 minutes. The 1.5 liter container is perfect for one teabag.

Don't fill to top.
If you fill to top, will overflow. It heats up n starts boiling pretty fast, so keep an eye on it and press t stop button. (My last purchase was a another with a pretty blue ring light all around the kettle, that stopped working because I cleaned the bottom part and some water probably went inside.) So, I am careful not to do the same mistake by letting it overflow.

NOT RELIABLE
Be very cautious. I've ordered 3 of these. I suspect that Amazon may have found a new provider. 2 out of 3 stopped working within weeks. The problem seems to be with the kettle as opposed to the electric base. (Since I've had a few, I conducted a non-scientifoc study) Also if you would like to return: get the label , find the original box...(the box has been disposed of after a week in our house) you can then return....as opposed to simply going to Whole Foods or UPS Store with an unboxed item. I wonder if there have been many returns of this product and as a result, the return process has been made more difficult to slow down the returns????? I'm very unhappy as I LOVED this little tea kettle and found the newer ones unsatisfactory.

Very Efficient
I thought about taking off a point just because this is not the nicest looking electric kettle that I've ever seen, but I really don't care what it looks like as long as it does a good job. I have had other kettles that did a good job, but this one does a great job, it is fast, simplistic, easy to fill to the proper level, and it seems sturdy enough to last a long time if not abused. The only thing I would change would be adding a longer spout, if you try to fill it through the spout, which I like to do since I fill with filtered water, it will overflow. This causes me to have to open the lid and tilt it just right to get the water filter spigot over the top fill opening. This is not a big issue at all but it is not as convenient as the kettle that I replaced.

A kettle that works!
I know, why review a $35 kettle, right? Well, Ive had to return a few because they either won't do what they're supposed to do, or there' some kind of design flaw. I'm noit overly picky, I just want a simple kettle that boils quickly, shuts off when it's done and for all the parts to work together. I have to say Amazon knocked this little fella out of the park. A small kettle that boils quickly, looks decent and has no annoying flaws The lid opens wide, it's quick to boil and shut off and takes up minimum counter space. All at a decent price. Perfect for one or 2 people in my opinion and a great buy. I've only had it a couple of days so we'll see hwo it holds upo but in the ealry going I'm FINALLY happy to ahve a kettle that works.

Small, efficient, works well.
I bought this kettle because it is small and light weight. Boils water quickly, auto shut-off works perfectly, and easy the lid is easy to open and close. The lid is steel with a circle of plastic in the middle for closing the lid if the lid is hot. Cons: the steel lid opens to about 45 degrees making it a bit more difficult to clean inside.

Works great, but not easy to clean
Just got the kettle, and I love the look! It is easy to turn on, the water boils, and it auto-shuts off great. Also there is a light on the kettle indicating the kettle is on, which is handy. I boiled two kettle's full of water to try and clean off any manufacturing residue. It is not easy to hand clean the inside of the kettle. Very happy, looks great. I just hope this kettle will last a long time.

Get one while you can
I love it. It is the cutest thing. To all you single women, you will fall in love with this kettle. I was expecting this big clunk of a kettle to take up space it shouldnt. When I pulled the box out of the box, I had a huh moment. So I opened up the product box and saw my new best friend. OMG, it is so cute. Perfect size. It comes with a station to sit it on to heat up. No cords to jostle with, just this cute retro/newbie kettle. It is steel all throughout. No more plastic. It has a removable filter on spout, a thumb button to open lid to stay away from heat, and the shut off timer works fine. The price is so great. Just remember to boil water in it a few times before personal consumption. But, beware, you are going to fall in love with it because its so damn cute.. So will your friends. Good luck.
