Very Durable

Got this for my boyfriend who works construction plumbing. This speaker has taken a beating while working in his day to day but still functions and quality of sound is still as great as when it first came! Highly recommend this a an easy gift for someone in the trades!

Excellent sound but strap broke right off

Working in the yard with headphones on prevents me from hearing people or things around me. Often getting startled by people. This allows me to put the music on my belt. At least after I Gorilla glued the strap back onto the top. 1st day I used it, one end of the strap mount broke off. After gluing it, I have to thread my belt through it, but it works decent. And good sound too. I haven't run out of battery, but I haven't 'put it to the test'.

Excellent for the home handy man

I bought the speaker for my son and he loves it! The sound quality is unbelievable considering its small size. The one downside is as other people have mentioned is the strap broke almost immediately. However, that has nothing to do with the sound quality.

Nice, but little improvement

I had the first version, which is slightly smaller than this. But the sound quality is the same, battery life is the same. The magnet is a little better . The belt clip feature I don’t use. If you have the first version and don’t need to upgrade, don’t bother.

Great hard working speaker!

I use this speaker to play music in all kinds of rough work areas. Greenhouse, kitchen, outdoors, camping. Love the strong magnet on the speaker's strap for sticking it to nearby equipment. This has been very durable. Highly recommend!

This speaker will take a battering and still sound good.

The media could not be loaded. The one thing that stands out with this speaker is the clarity of the sound, I had this on really loud and it had no distortion whatsoever and this was after I threw it up in the air a few times and watched it free fall 2 - 3M to the floor! The speaker comes supplied with a 3.5mm line lead and a USB charging cable. The speaker takes a micro USB cable to charge, which is quite common, so don't necessarily need to use the enclosed USB lead. I have noticed on the listing on Amazon that Klein seem to portray that this is manufactured in North America, in fact this speaker is made in China! The speaker has a quality feel to it, it weighs in at 270g which isn't heavy at all to carry around on a belt hook etc. The outer orange casing allowed the speaker to bounce off my hardfloor without causing any damage to the casing. The front speaker grill is smooth and is of a metal construction. This product has been given an IP54 rating which means this speaker will be protected from a limited amount of dust ingress and water spray from any direction. This will allow the speaker to be used in many work environments be it inside or out but I wouldn't leave this in the rain! The strap easily opens up from the speaker and can be used to hook onto a nail or looped over a pole or even attached to a belt. The base of the strap has a very strong magnet allowing this to be attached safely to any ferrous metal object. The charge port and line-in socket are covered at the side of the speaker and is easily accessible by lifting the orange cover. The top of the speaker has 4 buttons which are for power, volume up/down, play/pause. Connecting to this speaker is done by turning on the unit and then holding the power button down until the blue light in the speaker grill flashes, pairing is then straight forward. The sound performance is awesome, very loud and has no distortion. This is clearly a good quality speaker and effort has been made to ensure good clear sound at high levels. The battery in this should last around 10 hours but this will be based on the volume level. The manufacturer has used a 2150mAh rechargeable power source in this speaker to give it as much playing time in a small casing. Overall I'm very impressed with this speaker and it sure is capable of working on building sites where other delicate speakers would break after dropping or having a covering of dust. The price tag is justified and I highly recommend it!

Excellent sound and connectivity. Impressive 10m range. A robust speaker that will take a bit of punishment. - Quality/build This is a very solid speaker. It will definitely take the rigours of a building site and is ideal for construction/trades. I really liked that there are many clever ways to attach it onto something. There is a strap, a strong magnet that is ideal for anchoring it to pipes and a hole to attach it to nails. The supplier states that this speaker can withstand drops of up to 3m. it is also water resistant, so light splashes and moisture isn’t a huge concern – I’ve used it near my hot tub when my husband isn’t using it for work without issues. - Sound Sound is brilliant for a speaker of this sort. I was pleasantly surprised. The sound is clear, and the tonality is what you’d expect from the better speakers in the mid-range price bracket. - Connectivity A big plus here is how well and flawless the connectivity is to blue tooth. It has an amazing 10m range that means you’re not getting any intermittent interference and any annoying cut outs. Super impressive. It can be wired, too and a cable is provided. - Calls/handsfree This function works well and does everything you’d expect easily. - Overall, if there was a work horse of the speaker world, this would be it. A solid 5 out of 5.

Amazing little speaker!

This is a small but mighty Bluetooth speaker. It's so small that it fits inside the back pocket of my jeans! I really do like it and a tool manufacturer is beating electronic companies at their own game. Rugged, with solid and easy to press control buttons, the volume goes way louder than I expected and the sound quality is astonishing for such a small speaker. One of the best things is the magnetic stap. It does unclip so that you can hang the speaker using it, but keep it clipped in and it sticks like glue to anything metal - fridge, microwave oven, radiator, boiler, etc. A really poweful magnet and a long battery life - I've not timed it, but it works for hours and hours between charges. It auto-switches off after 10 minutes of inactivity (I would've preferred 30 minutes). The Bluetooth range and connection is excellent and it has a 3.5mm jack lead input and it's charged using a USB-C cable - both cables are supplied. Ideal for the home or on site, this is a fabulous speaker.
