Best used on relatively level ground

I like the added back support rest, and it folds down if you don't want to use it. Also works with the rest on your front as a chest rest or elbow rest for glassing. This one seems constructed out of thicker guage piping which adds a heft and sense of durability but it's still overall light weight and fits folded up on my Maxpedition Day Packs external gear strap conveniently with very little rattle or noise when walking slow. Only draw back is the narrow base means it's incredibly unstable on anything but mostly level ground or while sitting on a slight downhill slope. Really helps extend the time I can comfortably sit glassing or in a stand.I recommend wrapping the leg poles with a thin layer of electrical tape or hunters wrap to improve the stealth and sound proofing, but otherwise in my opinion, a solid all-around good, general purpose light weight stool for: Camping, hunting either big western game or sitting in a blind for eastern white tail, shooting ranges, glassing, wildlife watching/photography, it would work well in all these applications. Plus it has a pouch in the seat that's great for things like snacks, extra ammo, extra film, etc.

Handy

I use this for hunting when I have to sit in one place for long periods. It's very handy. The only downside for me is that it leans back a little too far. I usually place a stick, or block of wood between the rails to make the back rest a little more vertical. Other than that it's well-built, light weight, has a carrying strap, and a roomy zip-up pouch that I use for miscellaneous items.

It's okay

The chair serves its purpose, but is far from comfortable. If you lean back just the least bit too much, if you aren't careful it's going to topple over. I'm a 100 pound female and sitting puts you right on the bars that hold the chair up. It's great for short hunting trips, but certainly not for an all day hunt

Pain in the @$$

This is not good for long periods of sitting. After 2 hours I was in total agony. I’ll stick with cheap camping chairs from sporting good stores.

Very nice

I love this! Bring it out anyplace there’s no seating! Feels sturdy for me and nice little storage pocket. The only thing I would change is maybe put some rubber around the bottom metal but only if it’s placed on concrete. Would be fine on grass or dirt

Perfect size

This seat is a beauty. Fit perfectly in my travel bag I use to store all my gear. Light and has a strap to carry into the bush. Comfortable to fit on

Not bad.

At first I got it for a portable seat for work, so I could carry it around in the truck and whip it out when I need something to sit on. It turned out to be a little small and uncomfortable for that. I am a big camper though (the type where you sit around with a beer and do not much of anything for a few days!) and it turns out this is the perfect little table to fit in between to camping chairs. The surface is sturdy when opened, and the zippered pocket underneath is quite large and can fit quite a few things. For this purpose, it's perfect.

Well constructed sturdy stool

This is a great stool for the price. It's sturdier than most because of the tubular base design, much better than legs. The fabric is tough and big enough for an average Canadian ... though maybe not an average American! The pouch underneath is large and has a good zipper. The carrying strap is convenient. It is heavier than some alternatives, but that is the trade off for quality. It's just the right height for tending a small fire. Perfect!
