I have used at least 25 of these containers for multipurpose storage(I have alot of stuff) and they have done wonderfully. I have actually been meaning to write a glowing review for awhile. They have done exactly what I needed for the space that I have. Unfortunately the last one that I ordered was split down the side. No problem, stuff happens sometimes and got a replacement one. The second one arrived yesterday and got time today to start putting stuff in it and the side where the handle is supposed to be is broken. I used it because it ain't worth my time to send it back. I'm going to buy more but if I keep getting damaged ones I may have to look in another direction for my storage needs. Side by side pictures for reference.

Few little details I wish I knew.

Overall the box was able to meet my needs with some minor modifications. From the pictures I assumed that the bottom was flat on the inside. Upon receipt, I noticed that that there are six 1/2" raised bumps on the bottom. I bought this so that I could attach a metal plate to the bottom so I could use it to transport large magnetized warhammer miniatures. In the end had to use sandpaper and hot glue to make everything adhere.

They rate 5 Stars for lack of chemical odor

Yeah, that's the ONLY reason ---- they don't smell But for price rip off: zero stars ! And for Suitability to store nice things (like books, clothes, important papers, treasured heirlooms): zero stars ! I know other company's tubs have small air holes under the handle, but these have 3/8's inch holes right on top where, if your garage is like ours, dust and also spiders will get right in. If you don't care, then these are the tubs I would recommend to buy, because they are sturdy, well made, convenient to open and close easily, will stack well. Perfect, in fact, for sports paraphernalia, camping equipment, tools, etc. As far as getting a break on price... And it might have been a fluke with only my particular order, but if you see a limited time deal, let me tell you, don't think you are going to get a good buy. For example, regular $29.95 for just one tub was marked down to $19.44 per tub. I bought six. Big mistake. Because the ones I received were not in pristine, straight from the factory condition. No, they had obviously been sitting in some big box retail for way over a year (filthy layer of dust and obviously tossed around with all the tops scuffed too) and would never have had any buyers who would even considering purchasing them in a retail setting where they could be viewed in person prior to laying down their money. Now maybe your order will arrive in "new" condition, maybe it was just mine that didn't because I bought at a marked down price (still very expensive), and were quite a job to clean - ended up squirting them with a hose out on the lawn, but buyer beware...

The boxes are perfect for our requirements and as described. Down side, I ordered 9 and 9 were shipped individually ( not a problem ), however they were also invoiced individually - major problem as I then had to do 9 expense claims!!

Reap off

This is way overpriced. Pay attention it is the price for only one unit. It is not superior quality It cost 8.99 at walmart When I realized it I tried to cancel my order, but it was refused even daugh it was not shipped yet which is ridiculous. I never had a problem canceling order before shipping... It is a scam and reap off

Quality Bin

These are really well-made bins. With metal hinges and thick plastic, they're much better than most clear bins you pick up at the box box retailer. Buying a common size like this makes it easier to find other matching bins in the future. I've purchased 5 or 6 of these from Amazon Warehouse Deals and I've never received a damaged one. The only issue with buying from Warehouse Deals is that they often add a barcode or other inspection sticker to the bin that requires some goo gone to remove completely.

Best totes around

Took several cross-country moves to figure out that fliptop totes are way more useful than the ones with separate lids. These are the hardiest ones I’ve found, and have solid metal pins in the hinge and high quality plastic that doesn’t shatter if you drop them. The clear sides make it easy to figure out what’s inside without having to dig through a stack. Highly recommended.

Nice Container

Nice container. Will hold lots of my stuff.. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the container arrived with 2 holes in it, one on each side.. see pictures.. Not a big deal in my case and I didn't expect it to air tight or water tight by any means. Just curious. Cardboard shipping box was undamaged. Just noticed that the handles was broken. Had to cut myself on it to see that ut was broken
