Great for thin line applique

Not like it used to be

I have used this on and off over the years, mostly for thin kitchen curtains that I found to be just a touch too long . it worked fine. The other night I tried to use it to make a "Covid-19" face mask out of thin cotton material (very similar to the kitchen curtain material) and it wouldn't hold. I don't know why. I even at one point thought I mistakenly put the tape on the wrong way and redid it on another piece of cloth but that ended up being the wrong way. I have to say I was disappointed in this. The price is cheap so its not like I am upset about that I am upset that it seems like the things that were great in the past are now becoming if not obsolete when you do find them they don't work as they used to .

Bummed

So wanted this to work.....but I remember why I stopped using it years ago. This was meant to hold my dress up in the front so I wouldn't trip and we ended up having to just sew it to hem it as this did not provide any sort of sticking ability....idk what I do wrong, but this never works for me.

Not plain fusible

This Hemming tape is not what I expected or have had in the past. It's a thin plastic - you place the adhesive part on the fabric, and iron on the paper covering of the tape (no steam) for a few seconds until it bonds. Peel the paper off a few minutes later once it has cooled. Then fold or put fabric on top of the shiny tape part, and iron again until it bonds. It leaves my hems wonky and misshaped, so I have VERY limited use for this tape.

Good product that does what it should

Easy to use made sewing a curved hem much easier
