Great cafe lock that's well worth the price
I bought the Abus Bordo 6055 Mini to use it as a "cafe lock." It is compact and leightweight, and it fits my Topeak tool case. It is quite short and doesn't work with all bike racks, but it does where I usually visit, as shown in the attached image. I do have a heavy-duty U-Lock, which I use whenever I need to leave my bike unattended for an extended period of time, but this lock will do for quick stops, which are most of my stops.

High-Quality Lock. Made in Germany. Includes Holster (85cm Only)
Features: >Made in Germany – (Quite rare nowadays to see a product of this type NOT made in China.) >High Quality 5mm X 20mm X 110mm steel links – (Plastic coated to protect bike finishes.) >Heavy Duty 10mm wide flat-head rivets – (Low-cost alternatives/imitations use smaller rivets.) Pros: >Frame mount holster included [85cm only] – (Option for screwed or strapped on frame). >Excellent craftsmanship built with tight tolerances – (No wobbly loose parts typical of low-cost alternatives.) >Lightweight at 498g (1.1 lbs.) – (Roughly the weight of a 20oz water bottle.) >Harder to pick than other locks – (Not exactly pick-proof. However, according to a "Lock-Picking-Lawyer" a novice picker may have difficulty picking this lock. That is saying a lot from "LPL"!) Cons: >A little big to carry in pocket – (This is best mounted on the bike frame with the included holster or placed in a backpack/hydration pack if you ride with one.) Folding bike locks in general of any brand are not ideal as primary lock to secure a bike, especially if leaving it for long period of time. They do not offer the security level of U-Locks or hardened steel chains. What a good quality folding lock do offer is minimal to medium security and the convenience to take along on a ride. They are best suited as a “quick-stop” lock for those rides you find yourself needing/wanting to stop at a store or even restroom breaks. However, not all folding bike locks are created equal. From past experience I can tell you these low-cost alternatives/imitations provide a security level of no more than a step or two above heavy-duty zip-ties. On the other hand, Abus folding locks sits on the top-tier category with their 6055 series sitting within the same class as well-known brands – (Kryptonite and Foldylocks). It is a high-quality lock that will serve as excellent deterrent to prevent marauding low-life leaches from walking off with your bike.

Perfect for local runs
It’s a bit small if you’re trying to go thru the front wheel and frame but for a quick ride compact and matches bike color.

Customer service is really bad!
Lock istelf is good; it's convinient and works as expected. Abus customer service is really bad. I tried emailing them twice and i couldn't get them on phone as well. If something happens like you loose your key or like me the key is broken inside then good luck.

I feel like this just isn't secure
This seems like a small step up from a cable lock but is def less secure than a u lock. Save your money and buy a u lock instead.

Good, light lock, but it is short
Very useful lock, good security rating and easy to use. It is short however so not much flexibility for locking points

Very nicely made and light lock. Good for its purpose.
Very light for a folding lock, and feels very nicely made. A quality product. But do be aware this lock is mainly to be used as a cafe lock, or for short periods. It is not strong enough to secure a valuable bike for long periods. I keep it on my expensive weekend bike and use it to go for a coffee break on a leisure ride.

I like custard
Does what it needs too. Ideal for nipping in the shops. It does rattle a bit on the frame but it's not an issue. Love how easy it is to attach to any shaped railings.

Lightweight and small for shopping or touring
I really like how small this lock is. I use it primarily for touring/bikepacking for peace of mind while camping or entering a shop. No it's not going to prevent a determined thief stealing your bike but it will stop opportunistic ones. It's a shame it doesn't come with a carrier, especially if you pay anywhere near RRP. On the plus side, it easily fits in a jacket pocket. A strap or elastic band to prevent it from unfolding is necessary in my opinion. It has been very reliable so far, in the few months I've had it. Highly recommended as a lightweight solution.

Great lock for quick stops
Much lighter than I expected. Wouldn't deter a determined thief but great for popping into a shop etc
