Keep hot water more than 24 hours
We bought this pot to keep hot water. And it works very well: after 24 hours the water would be still hot enough. The stainless outside is beautiful and easy to be cleaned. But the interior is a little hard to be cleaned: it is not easy to be reached by cleaning sponge. But overall it is a good pot. We are glad to have it.

Longevity of heat.
This keeps liquid hot longer than any other brand I know of, probably due to their lid design. If you want to keep it hot the longest, warm it up with hot water first so that whatever liquid you're pouring in doesn't have to warm it up!

Not keep warm long enough
Zojirushi is my goto favorite brand but this thermos kettle is not keeping the water hot long enough like the drinking thermos bottle. About 3 hour would turn cool. The drink bottle series can keep warm up to 12 hours

seems well built
seems like a well built unit, keeps coffee hot for a few hours, haven't tried longer. One thing I do is fill it up with boiling water to pre-heat the inside, not sure it's that necessary but can't hurt...the stream is pretty weak when pouring but not a big deal. Seems really nicely built with good quality materials.

Quality Has Gone Downhill
I used to be a big fan of Zojirushi. We use many of their electrical and non-electrical products. I bought this one to replace a smaller Zojirushi Stainless Steel Vacuum Carafe SH-HB/15 because it stopped keeping water hot after a little over 3 years. I received this one early September and after a month, we noticed the outside is warm to touch and it doesn't keep water hot anymore... again. I am disappointed that it stopped working after a month of normal use and the quality of the product isn't as good as it used to be (not sure if it's because it's now made in China instead of Japan and QA standard is different or I just got a lemon). As for customer service, I contacted them when my SH-HB/15 started to have issues, not keeping water hot and warm to touch on the outside because it was still under warranty. The whole exchange was done via email. The customer service asked if there are physical damages to the carafe and requested pictures. There were few scratches on the bottom and that was all, it's just normal wear and tear. Scratches on the bottom was unavoidable because you pick it up and place it down the counter regularly. The rep considered that mishandling and didn't want to honor warranty at first. After some push back, she agreed to issue a RMA but I have pack it and mail it back for them to inspect. I have no problem doing that but the thing is I have to pay for shipping and there's no guarantee that they will honor the warranty and send me a replacement or a working one. With the cost of shipping and packing materials (to ensure it's won't be damaged during transit) and the risk of not getting one back, I decided to pay a little more and buy a new one instead. I saw this bigger version and decided to go for it plus the bottom is protected by plastic. Unfortunately, it didn't work out.

Can’t go wrong with zojirushi
Does it’s purpose. Material feels high quality. Pouring is smooth. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with zojirushi. I have their smaller water bottles and they are great too. It usually keeps the liquid warm for a day. Definitely would buy again.

Excellent thermos for coffee
We make a big pot of coffee when we wake up early each day and our coffee stays hot all morning in this thermos. The Zojirushi SH-RA19XA Stainless Steel Pot solves the problem of coffee losing warmth or flavor when it has been sitting on the burner for too long. This thermos can store a lot of liquid so I think we could even put two pots in, the next time we have company. It's easy to clean and it looks nice sitting on the counter.

Amazing heat retention and solid build quality
I am very impressed by this carafe, the water was still piping hot after a couple of hours and was even still warm (although not hot) the following morning. Great capacity and a large opening to facilitate cleaning. The only thing that I could nitpick on is the flow of water coming out. I just wish it was a bit more at a time instead of the smaller stream, but that is all I could find wrong with this. It feels solid and well made.

Piping hot tea all day!
I make tea in this in the morning, I use a cold brew coffee filter/infuser for the loose leaf tea and can still burn my tongue 6 hours later. If we don't finish it the same day, the next morning it is still a tiny, little bit warm. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed, not keeping warm at all
This is a defective item, I recently just took out to use which already expired the return period. It is not keeping warm at all, completely useless. Just a waste of money!
