Haven't experienced any of the problems the negative reviews noted. Price, especially on replacement filters could be better. In theory, cost for my well water would run about $0.75 per gallon if purchasing the $50 4-pack of filters. Would be nice if I could get a 16 pack of filters but currently unavailable.... My only real gripe is with the lid, it doesn't seem to go on right to me, gotta play around with it a bit before it goes on correctly. With the included tester, my well tested at 284TDS, through my fridge at 228TDS, locally bottled (within the same state) spring water at 212TDS. After filling up the pitcher from my tap water, tester read 000 Taste is good, seems about the same as the locally bottled spring water (my preferred bottled water over any other brands), and so much better than several common brands of bottled "purified water" that I've tried.

Buy replacement filters when you purchase!
First and foremost, I've been purchasing Zero water filters and pitchers for the better part of a decade now. They are the best commercially available water filtration systems you can get for the price. A lot of reviews on Zero water products will mention that the filter doesn't last long. For whatever reason, the filters that come with the pitchers only last about 2-4 refills depending on the size of the pitcher to have and the quality of your tap water. It's a necessity to buy at least one replacement filter with your pitcher. The replacement will last much longer. Again this also depends on the size of your pitcher and the quality of your tap. But other than that, this is "The" water filter to have. It'd be really cool if Zero water made a sink attachment and even a showerhead water filter, but that's a whole other conversation. Don't go with Pur or Britta as they add more crap to your water. Zero yields some of the cleanest, purest tasting water I've ever drank.

Pure Water
I use it to refill water bottles and was wondering why I was still seeing particulates. Turns out I had to let the water in the bottles completely dry out before filling them and now I am seeing all 000's. My tap was in the mid 200's, and filtered refrigerator door was mid 100's. Glad to finally be drinking just water. I have a couple of gripes. It filters slow, which can be a pain but I guess that is the price you pay for good filtering. The other thing is that the manufacturing seam is not fully trimmed in the handle so it cuts into your hand when you hold it while full. I ended up taking a steak knife to it and scraping it perfectly flat and it's no longer an issue.

Fantastic Find
I've heard of this product and was interested because of the meter showing zero versus Brita on the commercials. I never thought twice about it. I always bought bottled water (I know-not a good thing). In March when everyone was hoarding water, I decided to buy this filtration system. It is the best move that I made! I love the fact that I can get water from below the handle to fill my reusable bottles or pour from the top into a glass. The filter does its job and the water is fantastic! PLUS I have more room in my refrigerator now since there are no more bottles in there clogging it up! I would highly recommend this produce to everyone!

Love my Zero Water
This water pitcher has been a lifesaver during this time of Covid19. I was having to go to the store to get water everyday as we are only allowed 2 waters a day. With a family of 5 that goes quickly. Yes it does take awhile to flow through the filter, however we fill it as we drink a glass. So we always have a full pitcher. I have had it a few weeks and love it. I check the water everyday and it still reads zero. We loved it so much we bought a larger one for cooking and making coffee. Love the fact I don’t have to go out everyday to buy water. It has paid for itself already with not having to by water. It’s great!

I can not believe the 1 star scores I'm seeing.
My tap water has a ppm of 669 ppm, Filthy! This pitcher can filter all that junk out and give me 000 ppm. Freaking incredible!!! Note: I measured store brand water bottle and it came out as 15 ppm. I tasted my tap vs. filtered and its like night and day when it comes to taste. The only complain I have is my zerowater it will only filter up to 8 gallons of water because my tap water is so dirty. If my tap water was 200 ppm then the zero water pitcher would last so much longer. UPDATE: I bought a cheap pitcher to get the ppm down to 117 ppm and then poured it on my zero water to get it to 000 ppm. Problem solved!

Problem resolved, customer service replaing problem pitcher.
I contacted the company and they got back to me right away, and are replacing the Zero Pitcher. Very pleased with the customer service. Carol Rizzi I bought 2 zero water pitchers. I didn't give one as a gift until the beginning of June. My daughter's will not hold any water. It did the first time, but when she filled it the second time, it emptied in her refrigerator. Both testers don't register properly. Very disappointed.

Best choice for water so far!
I did the water test. I used tap, bottled and Zero water. I didn't think this would work but it did!! We couldn't believe it. The tap water was 228, bottled was 24 and Zero water was actually 0. I now swear by it. One of the best things that i have gotten for my family.

Quite disappointed
This product was great for the first two weeks. Then the water began to have an awful fish odour. This is apparently a chemical reaction with the source water. The filters are much too expensive to replace every two weeks. I did return the pitcher. Unfortunately, I live in Canada and the product had to be returned to the USA. This cost me $27 in postage. I am very happily going back to my old Brita system.

Misleading water filter
The water tastes great at first but then starts tasting acidic although filter was changed every 30 days. I read a review on Consumers lab which states that the filter ads plastic particles into water- not impressed and I wish i can return it.
