It's...okay. avoid if you have a shorter area

This pole caddy is just okay. Pros: nice color/finish. I don't anticipate this one rusting as fast as the previous one we had. It's relatively easy to put together but - see cons. The shelf brackets are relatively nice: sturdy and allow access to the compression screws to tigten them to the poles. Cons: Ours had a defect in the screw adjustment pole that I had to modify. It also required a different combination of pole lengths than the instructions indicated but that was easy to solve. So I docked an "ease of assembly" star for those. The screw adjustment pole is unreasonably long at 21" (for about 4" of adjustment) AND you can't attach shelves to it, without marring it's finish, because it has a larger diameter than the shelf brackets allow. Furthermore, the spring pole that gives it tension MUST be inserted into the screw adjustment pole so you must use both. At a minimum of 27.5" total of unusable pole length, fitting the four shelves can get tight in the remaining height. The shelves themselves are smaller than I expected but that's probably my fault. The shelves are attached with thumb screw on a compression sleeve so it can be difficult to get tight enough for heavy loads.

Nice... pretty... but....

I replaced all our old shower hardware and wanted a new caddy for all the bottles we have in the shower. I like this however, it is really difficult to get the shelves to not slide on the pole if you put any pressure on them (like pumping a squirt bottle). So you have to remove the bottle, put it on a hard surface to pump out the soap - you cannot pump it on the caddy shelf or the shelf will slide down. We've adjusted to this but it is a bit of a pain. Other than that though the caddy is nice and holds more stuff than our old one did.

Feels flimsy, but surprisingly sturdy

I was a little hesitant to get this one considering the mixed reviews. I totally see why some people love it and some people dismissed it as junk. At first glance it seems very well made, but once you have it in place it does wiggle a little bit. So it feels like it's not very sturdy. We have a crowded house. 6 people to one shower, so it gets a beating. This one was purchased to replace the one we've had for over 10 years. That one was solid, the thing didn't move once it was in place so I was a little concerned and decided to give it a couple weeks trial. So far it is holding up against my crazy children and rowdy household. TIP: The instructions say "no tools necessary," but if you tighten the shelf brackets in place by hand it is hard to tighten them tight enough so that they don't move. My shelves slid down the pole just by putting 3 full bottles of soap on them. But a set of pliers to tighten those brackets solved that problem in no time flat. So far I love the design, I love the features, and only four stars because it does wobble a little, even though it doesn't seem to affect the design or effectiveness of the product, it does knock points off.

Works for 9' ceilings, a little flimsy

The pole portion of this caddy can be made to fit different ceiling heights by adding sections. Unfortunately, the pole is pretty skinny, and getting it to the 9' length resulted in a wobbly caddy. However, I really like the metal shelves. They look great, hold a good amount of product, and have a little thing to hang your pouf from. Overall I'd recommend, but if you have kids that might decide to yank on it, maybe skip.

Beware, this is NOT Rust-proof!

I bought this over a year ago and it’s rusting in several parts (see photos) the tension pole as well as the baskets are rusting. The product description says it’s “rust-resistant” so don’t confuse it for Rust-proof. Also at its tallest extension, the tension pole does get wobbly, so I would advise against putting heavy items on the shelves.

Love it

I was so hesitant to buy this caddy because of all the negative reviews on how hard it is to assemble. To be honest, it took me less than 5 mins haha!! Every piece had a letter and if you look at your instructions first, the test follows really easily! Looks good and sturdy, it does curve a little but they all do a bit. The racks are super secured, nothing moves! I recommend, I’d buy it again ☺️

Decent. That's really it.

Instructions on how to set up were absolute dog water. Set it up practically with no help from the instructions. Was left over with an extra piece as this can fit a taller shower as mentioned in the listing. Looks great. The shelves you really have to tighten hard. Don't break the know hard but HARD. If you put heavy(or too many) items in the shelf it will slide down. 1 shampoo 1 conditioner per shelf any more than that and they may move. Place items inside the shelf lightly or it may slide.

Nice But

I gave this a 3 Rating because the way the Shelves stay in place is questionable. Other systems I have purchase in the past use a wedge system that holds stronger under weight. This system uses a Thumb Screw that can slip under weight.

Completed the requirements

Completed the shower stall Supplied all storage requirements , we eliminated one tray. Trays heights adjustable ???????? Did not have to use all extensions as our ceiling height was only 7’5” Plenty of torque spring tension to hold in place Bronze colour fit perfect with our dark browns tiles. DID NOT fit tight onto corner and pole felt flimsy due to height of pole???? All in all, very satisfied with product

Works sufficently

the end product is great. A little hard to put together
