Works well
I like it. I like thay it tracks wattage but i did have to hook it up to my 2.4 ghz non mesh wifi hotspot to get the updates to take.

Can track wattage so you see how much electricity use per month. Wish it has more than one month historical comparison though. But overall a great buy and easy to set up.

Weatherproof and well made; works great with the Wyze app
We purchased this to use with holiday lights, wanting an easy way to schedule on/off cycles, and also control the lights directly whether we're home or away. We've found this plug delivers well for those use cases. Notes: * The cord on this is approximately 5". The "box", is approximately 2.75"W 4"H and 1.5"D. * The plugs are standard 15A at 120 volts, 60 hertz (approximately 1,800 watts) * The plugs do not have dimming capabilities, these are on/off only * The plugs (2) work independently of eachtother * All schedules or rules are created in the app, the plug does not have "controls" on it, other than on/off buttons * These operate on 2.4GHz so they will work within a 'normal' range for this band. Ours is within 25' of our home and we've never experienced an issue with connectivity. * Setup and connection to the Wyze app was simple and pain free. Creating a schedule was also quick and easy. Improvement suggestion: The plug is designed to hang down, which intelligently keeps rainwater from coming near the points of contact. It would have been great if they used a 90 degree plug rather than the "straight out" plug which causes the cord to then bend at a 90 degree angle. The cord is thick enough that I don't have concerns about it failing, but it seems like this small alteration would have been a no-brainer. I see this on many of the cheaper, off-brand versions of these outdoor smart plugs. At just under $10 and are very pleased with its construction and performance. We have other Wyze devices in our home so it was nice to purchase a Wyze plug and not have to download yet another app to control smart devices. If you use Alexa, this should work well for you, too.

Not for dimming lights
Althouth disspionted that does not dimm lights feature .. overall good product for outside lighting

Our Christmas lights turn on and off automatically, after programming through the app.
We own a lot of Wyze products. Like the doorbell, exterior door locks, cameras, vacuum, light switches, and interior plugs. So when it was time to put up Christmas lights this year, my husband went looking for an outdoor plug because of all of the remote control/timer features that the other items we have utilize. This plug did not disappoint. It integrated quickly and easily into the app along with the other devices. I think it also connected automatically to Alexa. (My husband set up this plug alone. The new outdoor cameras that were installed last week integrated automatically, I helped with those and I got notification on my phone from the Alexa app). If this is your first Wyze product you will need to install the app and allow/give it permission to work with Alexa. You will also need to name the device in the app. That way, when you ask your echo to turn something on, you call it by name and it turns on the correct item. My outdoor Christmas lights turn on and off automatically now. My husband is happy, because in past years, he would put up lights and I would forget to turn them on.

Great timers if you already use Wyze products
I bought a couple of these timers to replace to mechanical and electronic timers we used during past holidays. I have a couple Wyze cameras and sensors, so going with these was a no-brainer for me. They are very easy to set up if you already have the Wyze app. Probably easy to do even if you don't have it yet. You essentially plug them in, click the plus in the app, and bob's your uncle. You can name and rename them, so that you can give them relevant names like "Halloween pumpkins" or "front uplighting." Then you can set schedules in the app for the outlets to turn on and off. I believe there is also IFTTT integration available and they can work with Wyze sensors. So if you want them to turn on when a door opens or when someone walks by, you can do that easily. The only issue I had was that one of the units (I bought two) had some cosmetic damage and the rubber cover for one of the outlets is no longer attached to the unit. So I have to be careful not to lose it when I use the outlets. Overall, I'm very happy with these and will continue to buy Wyze products since they tend to be inexpensive and fit my needs.

Excellent plug with onboard on off buttons
I have 2 and they are great. I struggled to get the first one to connect to any device. With some help from support, I had to tweak some settings on my device. But once connected, it works great. I was about to give up, but others didn't have the on board on off buttons for each outlet. This one is for a second home. Connected easily and setting up schedules is quick and easy. I also purchased 2 indoor plugs that also connected easily. Great app to control them all.

Great Product
This plug is rated to -4f/-15c not only did this plug performe in -22f/-30c but it seemed to not even be phased during extreme winds. Its hanging under a roof and wasn't phased during a ice storm tho I didn't look for accumulation on the plug, quick and easy wifi setup in the app and timers in the app worked like a charm.

Well made and perfect for outdoor needs
Great unit. It seems to be well made and strength of wifi seems good for managing my outdoor lights at back of property. I dropped a star for instructions, They good except they say to download the Wyse app. Easy enough, but there are several option on APP store and it was difficult to determine which one I needed. I downloaded wrong one and almost signed up for a different app as this was not very clear. I realized that it did not look right and deleted, and downloaded the right one. Ideally it would have been flawless install IF they clearly identified what the app was or provided a code I could scan to get the right one. Simple thing, but took a few extra minutes. I am quite tech savy, but for someone who is not may have same issues. Look for the iOS app that has the Blue Icon, says Wyze with 3 lines for the E.... This is the right one for apple products......otherwise a solid product that I hope will last.
