Sizing is Based On Male Hands Unlike A Similar Brand Geared For Women
Unfortunately I purchased the wrong size - I was going off of another product that is VERY similar to this that is sized more for a woman's hand and for that product I wanted to try a medium since a large was a little too big from that line. However, this glove, I believe, is based on a man's hands so while this is a great glove (I have purchased this glove in a small when the other woman's glove was out of stock), be mindful of checking the sizing and do not confuse them with a similar looking product that is geared towards household cleaning but looks EXACTLY like this one. So, my mistake on buying the wrong size since I was looking at other makers of PVC-coated gloves since my Holy Grail "woman's sized" PVC-glove has doubled in price over the years and I got myself confused and thought I was buying the right size but for the wrong glove. However, since I have purchased this glove before (in a small) I will tell you that once I found this type of glove - the PVC coated glove, I only use this glove for household chores because they are great when working with any kind of cleaning chemical and you can use practically boiling water without feeling uncomfortable. Because the palm and fingers of glove is textured, I tend to forego sponges and brushes and just use my fingers to clean. I'm certain this is not how the makers of the gloves intended them to be used so again, the breakdown of the gloves at the tips I've experienced is probably from my style of using them. I've been using this type of glove for about 10 years and after a while (say a year or so of constant and vigorous use - and for a glove, a year is a lifetime!!) it will develop a bit of thinness in the tip of the thumbs - no visible cracks but you will start to feel the heat of very hot water. Also, as some people have mentioned, the inside of the glove will start to stink and I believe it is because either there are microscopic holes that develop and a bit of water gets between the shell of the glove and the cotton interliner or let's face it, when you are doing heavy household chores you sweat like a demon. When an odor develops I will use a Febreze type product inside the glove and then hang it so that it air dries with the gloves open. That really helps. Another trick I've used to extend the life of the glove when I start to feel the heat in the thumbs is to stuff 1/2 a cotton ball into the thumbs of the glove to give a little protection. Despite my mistake in ordering the wrong size, I will pass this along to a male friend and I'm sure he will like them very much. So 5 stars for the gloves overall, 1 star for my silly mistake.

Good purchase
I don't have a dishwasher so I use very hot water to wash and rinse - these protect my hands from the heat of the water

Very heavy duty and sticky - feels like it's going to last forever
The main reason why I bought these gloves is because I used to always buy the Playtex gloves in supermarkets to wash dishes. The Playtex glove's price were not cheap and constantly ripping. I don't know if this is an issue with me or an issue with Playtex , but there's no way I'm ever going to find out so I've decided to try something more hard-core. I knew I could find something heavier and more durable on Amazon. I would not recommend these gloves to wash dishes, they are heavy and bulky and takes some time to get use to. The old Playtex ones that always ripped were much more flexible and I was able to control my hands better. I guess this is normal and it would be the debate between more flexibility or a longer-lasting durability. The total length of these gloves are also shorter than the Playtex ones, so water leakage from the top is easier and may be an issue for some of you out there. I'm sure there are other applications out there that this glove would be perfect for. But dishwashing would not be one of them. UPDATE *** 2016.08.25 The glove has been worn for a few months now and it is now much more flexible , dishwashing is back on the menu for these gloves.

Great gloves but Contains chemicals that may cause Cancer, Birth Defects or other Reproductive Harm.
EDIT (Nov. 6 2015): After almost an year, these gloves are still going strong. They are clearly very durable. Moreover, as several commenters below have informed, the California chemical warning is pretty much on most products sold in California so this glove is no better or worse than any other plastic product sold in California as far as I can tell. Use this information as you see fit. I bought 2 pairs of these for my mother. They looked and felt absolutely amazing and I'm still sure these gloves are SUPER durable and would probably last many many years. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. Apparently these gloves MAY cause cancer or birth defects (or other reproductive harm). I attached a picture of the back cover of the gloves to my review where it mentions that: "WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." This might not be too much of a problem for some people, but I personally cannot give a pair of gloves to my own mother which has cancer causing potential. I'm still contemplating whether I should return these or whether I should keep them around for those rare instances when I might need them (which I believe shouldn't be enough exposure to cause cancer or anything like that). I wouldn't have bought these gloves if this company (or Amazon) simply stated on the online Product Description about this product's cancer causing potential. Don't get me wrong, these are great gloves but "Cancer, Birth Defects or other Reproductive Harm" is too high of a price for me to pay.

Tough Glove
Used these gloves to prep for painting with trisodiumphosphate (TSP) in boiling hot (200F deg+) water. Worked like a champ. Being an idiot, i put my bare hand in the water to grab the used cloth, thinking it had cooled after 20-30 minutes. Nope. Scalded the hand. Deserved it. Made me appeciate how well the gloves worked!

Recomendables
Resistentes por fuera y suaves por dentro. La talla XL de verdad es extra, no como los guantes del supermercado. Son resistentes y aunque se puede sentir el calor cuando lavo los trastes con agua caliente nunca me quemo.
