Smart scale
This is my first smart scale. I use it in conjunction with the Withings app to send my weight directly to my Noom log. It's very sleek, and nice and wide and stable. My only wish is that it would beep when it's got my weight so I wouldn't have to bend and peek to see if it was done One time I waited so long to see if it had gotten my weight that when I looked down it was telling me the weather! The app keeps track of your weight and shows it on a time-line graph. It also track your BMI. Pretty smart!

Noom Users - Read Here
No complaints as far as the scale goes - it works, the look is clean and the app has some nice features. My frustration is that I only bought this specific brand because Noom had me thinking it was more comparable with Noom. It doesn’t think directly to Noom - you still just link Noom to the Withings app which has the same features (and delay) as any other wifi scale you connect. Noom also implies their users get a special deal, but their offer is the same price as for non-Noom users. If all you’re looking for is Noom comparability, I’d suggest a cheaper wifi scale.

Accurate and pretty
I like the scale, but I have yet to have it report the weight to my IPhone 12Pro. I have played with the ap until I am blue in the face, and nothing yet. So if that is the reason you are buying it as a member of Noom, perhaps you should save your money.

A Great Scale for the money
I first found out about this scale when I joined Noom. I am so glad that I ordered it. Not only does it give you an accurate weight, it also gives you your body mass index and the weather as well. Another feature that I like about it is that it also sinks with your phone through the app.

Bought this Withings Body scale to replace a crappy Etekcity scale I purchased a few weeks ago. Already on initial setup I like this scale soooo much more. The build quality is fantastic, it feels hefty and sturdy. The display is clean & simple, and you can choose what information appears when you first link your device to their app. My first 3 measurements on the scale were all within a standard deviation of 0.2 lbs. which I consider to be within an acceptable margin for accuracy. I dislike that most scales seem to require an app nowadays, but it's something I can live with. The Withings app seems minimally invasive to privacy at least. In spite of that, it's a very user friendly app, excellently designed and can be connected to Google Fit to track steps, food intake, etc. All really nice features even if I won't end up using them. Also comes with carpet feet if you're unable to use the scale on a flat solid surface, not sure how accurate the measurements will be on carpet even with those feet installed... but it's there if you want it I guess. Very happy with my purchase.

Works but setup can be a nightmare
Took an hour to set up. Problems with WiFi connection, and then it wouldn't transmit my measured weight to the web. Instructions were of no help. No troubleshooting information at all. But pro tip: the weight transfer failure seems to have been because the weight I initially entered into the phone app was a few pounds lower than what the scale measured, and therefore, some algorithm thought I was an unknown user. To fix this, I entered a new weight on the app that matched the one measured by the scale. This user ID algorithm is doomed to fail. Or at least, until you figure it out, you are doomed to a waste of time.

Update: With time I find that it will do more than I originally thought. That doesn't say much for the inadequate design of the user interface but it does mean that my original review was too harsh. Thus, the increase in stars.

Un peu léger mais efficace
J'ai acheté cette balance pour suivre un peu plus sérieusement mon poids sur la durée. La balance est un peu longue à configurer (app à installer, compte à nokia à créer, wifi, etc.) mais une fois que tout est fait on ne revient plus dessus et tout fonctionne naturellement. On peut enregistrer plusieurs utilisateurs et si 2 utilisateurs font à peu près le même poids, la balance nous demande de sélectionner le nom de l'utilisateur concerné par la pesée en se penchant à droite ou à gauche. Pratique ! Maintenant à ce prix j'aurai aimé avoir un peu plus qu'une courbe évolutive de mon poids sur la durée. POINTS POSITIFS : - pratique (après configuration) - l'usage du wifi (et non pas le bluetooth qui aurait obligé d'avoir un smartphone près de soi pendant la pesée). POINTS NÉGATIFS : - prix - faiblesse des fonctionnalités Au final cette balance fait du bon travail, mais elle se contente vraiment du minimum pour une balance connectée. La balance se connecte formidablement bien à la Wi-Fi, à l'application smartphone, informe de la météo, reconnaît les profils, affiche la progression. C'est juste vraiment dommage que sa fonction principale, à savoir mesurer votre poids, soit défaillante. Et à en juger par les autres commentaires ce n'est pas une erreur de fabrication de mon exemplaire. En se pesant trois fois de suite, au même endroit, dans la même position, à quelques secondes d'intervalle, vous aurez systématiquement trois poids différents, avec des écarts pouvant aller jusqu'à 2 kilos de différence. C'est ridicule, et honteux de vendre un produit si cher qui ne remplit pas son cahier des charges.

Not a fat % scale.
Amazon have kindly refunded me. Warning to anyone thinking of buying this product. This model does not give you a body fat percentage reading. It only does weight, and a b.m.i reading. You can do BMI reading with pen and paper. This model apparently connects to your phone through Bluetooth and WiFi and gives you the weather etc etc. I wouldn't know, my phone couldn't connect to it. It's all too much for a weighing scale. And with the fact it doesn't read your body fat I would not recommend this product. For £50 I don't really see what your money gets you? It's heavy too, Slippy underneath on laminate and slides, and the glass steams up and looks frosty. Not for me

Waage über Nacht explodiert
Anscheinend aufgrund der Hitze ist meine Waage über Nacht explodiert (siehe Bild)! Am Tag waren es ca. 33 Grad und die Waage stand die ganze Zeit im Badezimmer ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung !!! Die Raumtemperatur im Badezimmer dürfte den Tag über _maximal_ 30 Grad gewesen sein. Ich habe die Waage im September 2018 gekauft. Also also gerade mal vor 10 Monaten...

Nackig machen. Und Nokia zeigen. So fühlt man sich. M oder W, (anderes Geschlecht fehlt), Größe, Geburtsdatum, Aufstellort... alles will die App wissen. Was passiert mit meinen Daten? Die wären sicher. Klar. Ohne Smartphone zeigt sie nach dem Einschalten noch nicht mal was vernünftiges an. Nur die Adresse zu Nokia zum Download der App. Und nur nach Registrierung bei, Datensammelanbieter. Nein für mich ist das Ding gestorben. Immerhin kann sie nach einem fehlgeschlagenen Setup das Gewicht anzeigen. Smartwaage gerne, aber das Ding ist eine Katastrophe in Sachen einfache Funktionalität. Mal so richtig zum abgewöhnen. Gut Aussehen tut sie, bis man sie einschaltet. Wiegen scheint sie auch korrekt. Nur warum kann sie nicht einfach nur mit einer App funktionieren, die nicht alles Daten in die Welt hinausposaunt Und warum muss man sich bei einem weiteren Datensammeldienstleister registrieren? Muss mir mal noch überlegen, ob ich diese Wanze retour schicke.
