Grips feel like heaven, but are hell to put on!

I ordered the Winn Dri-tac grips in the standard size. I liked that they were gray with blue highlights pictured on Amazon, but when I got them, they came in red highlights. No worries. I can deal with that. I have installed grips on my clubs, at least, a dozen times over the years. I have the proper tools (vice grip, double sticky tape, lighter fluid) to do a respectable job. I have not had any problems the last several times that I have. Installing the Winn Dir-tac grips were a bit of a challenge. They were difficult to get over the shafts of the clubs, even with putting fluid directly on the tips. Once on the shafts, they didn't slide on very easily, even after dousing the tape with fluid, causing a lot of glue to get on the shafts. In addition, two of the grips actually separated at the seams, causing space between them. I can feel the separation when I swing, so I will need to replace those two. Never had these problems with Golf Pride grips. Hard to beat the price of the Dri-Tac grips, and, I will say, that they feel great when I swing the clubs (except for the two that have grip separation). I'm sure a professional installer would have no problems, but, that would have cost an additional $5 -$7 per club. Might be worth it if you are considering the Winn Dri-Tac grips.

Perfect

Exactly what I was hoping for. Incredibly easy to install and they provide the perfect level of cushion on my hands while swinging my clubs. Absolutely would buy again.

grip install fail

I was installing the 9th grip on pitching wedge and grip separated at the wrap. i was not forcing plenty of solvent, was half on when it came apart, not very happy with quality. grip was in a 9 pack set

Nice grips

I’ve always loved Winn grips. They feel great in your hands and they are relatively easy to install. Tip: use plenty of solvent to put them on. I had one that started to separating because I didn’t use ample solvent. They have multiple colors to match to your liking.
