No issues with the product for what I needed it for, you know, serving spaghetti or other noodles. I haven't had any durability issues like other people described either. You may want something larger if you are planning on fishing items out of a larger/deeper pot. That is the only issue I had with it. As I'm not planning on preparing a large meal for 10+ people that isn't an issue.

Seems different form the picture.

I bought mine from New Jersey Grinding LLC. Be aware that sellers may not sell you one that is like the picture. Mine has a round hole in the middle of the server, rather than the smaller holes seen in the picture. The spoon works well for the price. I would buy another if it broke.

Sturdy Tool

Overall works well. Tines could be a little longer. If they were this tool could support a larger load.

For Light Duty Pastas

This really is for serving the pastas rather than cooking/stirring as the handle is way too short. The tines were small which I guess would be good if you were trying to do smaller servings. The steel was really light and felt kinda flimsy, like it would bend easily. Not sure I would recommend unless you were looking for a light-duty pasta server.

I wanted a server that was not plastic as those tend to get a white coating that won't come off after several trips thru the dishwasher. This one has a nice heft and balance to it as well as retaining its shine and no white coating after washing.

I would have made another choice

Had I had put my brain into this purchase I may have order a server made with a material that would not scratch my non stick cookware. Other then that issue, this is a good way to get spaghetti out of a pot, better a plastic bowl or glass casserole. But it is not the fault of this item, it was my error.

It is pretty simple and a little smaller than I expected, but it is stainless steel and works just fine.
