These are a set of 12 DEMITASSE spoons and exactly what I was looking for/needing. Yes, they could be called "child-sized," if you are expecting them to be what they are not: regular sized teaspoons. THESE are DEMITASSE spoons for DEMITASSE cups & uses: espresso, that are served in tiny cups. Hence the "tiny" spoons that these appropriately should be. A teaspoon is too large for a demitasse cup. Leaving a negative review for a product you don't understand is like blaming a vendor for the fact that you ordered a giant serving spoon that you can't fit in your mouth for eating cereal. That is neither Winco's nor Amazon's fault nor failing. These are fine, clean, non-nickel leaching Demitasse spoons that are great for what they are for: espresso...and cappucino...and dessert spoons, if you don't need to eat your ice cream in one bite. At least you Have a company offering 18/0 stainless, instead of the who-knows-what "pot metal" most/all of your utensils and steel items are made from. If you are looking for a Demitasse spoon you can put into your espresso/cappucino without it leaching a bunch of toxic metals & contaminants into every cup - or right into your mouth, if you lick your spoons after stirring those a.m. delights - these spoons by Winco are indeed a win-win you can use with piece of mind and health.

Very basic but a great deal on teaspoons - forks too!

These teaspoons (and forks for that matter. I got two sets of those as well) are very basic but not flimsy. They're a bit smaller than my other teaspoons as far as length of the handle goes but they're fine. They're not pretty with designs or anything but they are quite sturdy and do the job. The finish isn't bumpy or rough like really cheap flatware can be and these were really cheap. For the price, these are a great value. I lose spoons like crazy so I bought two packages and have 24 spoons to lose and will have only spent under $5.00 for them. I don't know if they will peel or anything but they are marked stainless steel and so far, they look fine. The forks I bought are the same. Basic, pretty sturdy, slightly short, and a very good deal.

Good Buy

For some reason unknown to me, my teaspoons tend to migrate out of my kitchen and are never seen again. It is vexing, because for me, teaspoons are my very favorite and most useful piece of flatware. I was down to six or seven, and while the rest of my flatware drawer was overflowing, the teaspoon section looked sparse. I didn't want to spend a lot, and I settled on the Winco. You can't even get a good serviceable piece of flatware this inexpensively at dollar stores anymore. They wanted the same amount of money or more for fewer spoons, so I ordered these. They came very quickly and I put them through their paces after a dip in the dishwasher. These are a nice sturdy spoon, and a good weight. Not too light and not too heavy, and the plainness of them appealed to me. They are a welcome addition to my tableware. The nice thing is that there is no pattern to clash with the orphaned spoons when they are in use. I am considering buying another package in case any remaining spoons get the wanderlust and take themselves off to parts unknown. Good product, good price, and they work. The vendor shipped them quickly, which I appreciated. If you want a fancy schmancy spoon, hey I don't judge. But if you just want a dependable workmanlike spoon, try this one. I really am impressed, and I have enough spoons. Temporarily.

I like these little spoons

I like these little spoons, which are a great value. I found no issues with the manufacturing and/or structure. I like that they are thinner as I prefer a thin spoon (which yes, does have a tendency to bend...which I like as I adjust to what I need). They are small and short. I like having different size spoons around; I am not someone that needs to have matching kitchen items, more utilitarian. These are good for something like thick yogurt. Glad to have many as small spoons are the utensil used the most in our household.
