Perfect for maple syrup processing

These pans are deep and wide, which gives them the perfect dimensions for my back woods maple oven. They are sturdy so you can put the lip of the pans on the concrete and it holds with a full pan of sap with no worries of it giving under the high heat of the fire below. I mean I got well over 600 degrees and these pans didn't even flinch, nor did the sap burn. I got a better boil from these pans and they were a more efficient then using a stock pot because of the surface area. I used less wood and got a higher temperature boil. And the clean up? Super easy and fast. Stainless is the way to go, just put the money into this investment, you will have it for years to come. It's WELL worth the price.

Nice pan

I bought this for my son who is making maple syrup. He was happy with it. It's a little thinner stainless, but he said it will work just fine.

I like the depth (6") of the pan.

I like the fact that the pan is stainless steel. It could be heavier gauge metal but it is adequate for my needs. Actually, I (Gary) bought the pan for mixing up tiling mortar in and scooping it up with tiling trowel. It works pretty good but not as well as I had envisioned,

Very light weight

Plan on using it as a evaporator for boiling maple syrup. The pan is made of a thinner gauged steel than I thought it would be. Hopefully it will hold up for my intended use.

Maple syrup evaporator

Using pans to evaporate maple syrup. Purchased 2 pans last year 2022 and worked wonderfully! They are a little thin but work well for what I’m using them for. Purchased another pan this year to make evaporator larger to help with added trees/sap this year. Wish I purchased pans a little deeper because they will boil over if not watched closely. Able to pour 10 gallons in the 3 pans easily to start the evaporation process.

Excellent for cat litter, poor packaging

As so many others have said, this combined with the sifter makes for a very easy and ingenious cat litter box! Keeping these clean is so much easier than the massive litter boxes I had before, and sifting is (mostly) a breeze - it's a little heavy lifting them up each night, but that's the only issue. While the pans are amazing, the packing is not. My first one came okay, but I ordered two more and those came with minor dents. No problem for me, but if you're actually going to cook with these, be on the lookout for that.

Arrived damaged, but still works great as a litter box

Just like so many other reviews, mine arrived damaged in the exact same way with a bent corner. Since I'm using it as a litter box, it doesn't matter and I bought it fully expecting it'd probably arrive damaged, and I still ended up with what's essentially a large, deep, metal litter box for half the price. The cat immediately took a liking to it. The way it came packed, I would not be surprised if all this damage is happening during shipping because it's not marked fragile and the Amazon warehouses probably think a metal pan isn't so flimsy, not the seller selling it this way. But if you're planning on ordering a few for a busy kitchen, they probably won't stack correctly due to this bent corner damage. It's not very sturdy in the first place so I bet it could be bent back into place fairly easily with the right tool and a firm grip. The sides and bottom are pretty damn flimsy though, enough so that I could see it not staying it's original shape if filled with something heavy like a gallon of liquid. Buy at your own risk since it's very likely to arrive damaged. Definitely left the impression that its a great deal as a litter box, assuming it holds up over time.

Quality is good and it arrived without dents

Recommend. I have been using it as a litter pan, and it has not rusted or failed in any way.
