This is a great nonstick cake pan.

This pan is thick enough to resist denting. The nonstick coating works well and seems resistant to damage. It’s a great size and shape for basic round and layer cakes. Cakes and biscuits release easily from this pan. The rim has handle protrusions that make it easier to grab out of the oven without smashing the edges of the cake. This is a welcome addition to my baking arsenal.

Good value

Fair pricing (around $15) for a very high quality cake pan. This round cake pan is very nice, finished well and cleans up easily. We really like this company’s products.

Excellent pan, but handles add 3 inches to width

This cake pan is a big step-up from the ones I’ve been using. The cake pops out easily and intact, thanks to the non-stick coating. I always line the bottom of my cake pans with parchment paper and did the same with this one. Even though it states it’s dishwasher safe, I found it’s very easy to wash by hand. I have a love-hate with the handles: they make it so easy to remove the pan from the hot oven, but at the same time they take up more room in my already-crowded cabinet. The 9-inch pan measures 12 inches across with handles. It’s a high quality cake pan and I can see it lasting for many years if it is treated well (no dishwasher or metal utensils).

Excellent pan for snack cakes

This Wilton Advance Select Premium round cake pan is very good quality. The pan is quite thick and sturdy; I expect it to last a long time. The nonstick is very good. According to the insert that came with the pan, it resists warping in heat up to 450 degrees. I’ve never had a round cake pan warp, but it’s nice to know it can handle 450 degrees. It is also labeled as dishwasher safe, but I don’t own a dishwasher. The handles are really nice and make the pan easy to grasp and carry out of the oven. They do add quite a bit of width to the pan, so that might be a concern if you are baking several items or using a small countertop oven. With the handles, the pan is just under 12 inches wide. Also, the pan is best for a single-layer snack cake. The sides of the pan are angled. I had thought of buying two pans to make a layer cake, but that won’t really work well since the sides would not be straight up and down.

Just what I needed

I love making cakes but most of my pans date back to when I was a small child so many have issues with uneven cooking or stocking. I have no such issues with this pan. Wilton is a brand that I trust when it comes to cakes so I was thrilled to find this pan. The metal feels very sturdy and I haven't had any issues with my cake or anything else sticking to the sides. Because of the non-stick nature of the pan, the cakes I make very rarely need baking spray to come out clean. The label says the it can be washed in the dishwasher but I hesitate to put anything non-stick in the dishwasher and it cleans well by hand regardless because of the non-stick. I highly recommend this pan.

Great Quality, Reliable Brand

This is a substantial cake pan that is a little more hefty than my Calphalon cake pan of the same size. I prefer this one because the handles make it a lot easier to use and no problem with anything sticking in this pan. I always bake using parchment paper but I wouldn't have to with this pan. It says metal utensils are ok to use in this pan, but honestly, I wouldn't. If you read the care instructions it says it's dishwasher safe, but advises against the use of dishwashing tablets because they can damage the finish. It also says not to scrub with a scouring pad. So, how it would hold up to metal utensils and not dishwashing tabs or a scouring pad is a mystery to me. I'm going to err on the side of preserving its longevity and hand wash it because after all, it's a cake pan, so it should be really easy to clean in any case. Overall, this is a high-quality cake pan that I expect will provide many years of use and give my Calphalon bakeware a run for the money.
