Scent works for sure

I never used scent before and I did this year with a grown food plot and I drew in a bunch of bucks . I didn’t use the dripper I put it on a branch and once they started coming and marking they just kept coming back and new ones appeared

Well, it works! The hard part is up to the hunter...

I followed all the instructions EXCEPT for placing this in an area where scrapes already exist or several major deer trails intersect, etc. Because I have a major neck injury and MS, which many times prevents me from climbing or going far from my house, I basically made a mock scrape I could see from a setup in a low, wet bottom within sight of my home (I can see my house when I am in the stand). There have never been any scrapes in this area all the years I have lived here, but after leaving my mock scrape alone for a week with a trail cam on it, a 2 year old buck has already taken over it and visits it all throughout the day & night. He even has a staging area on a high spot near it now with rubs all over it. I'll give it another week & check the camera again before deciding if I want to hunt it or refresh it & wait a bit longer. Meanwhile, I am thinking about ordering another for a new spot I can get to on an atv I now have.

Was Empty very quickly.

The bottle was empty just like that. Refilled it and turned it over and the new scent just ran out. Good idea but must not work in warmer 50 to 60 degree temps like we have had. Figure to fill in about 2 days instead of advertised 2 weeks which defeats the purpose.

We have used these for several years with steady results ...

We have used these for several years with steady results. We typically hang them in late September and run them through early December. They will generally last 2.5 - 3 weeks depending on the temperature swings. We've found the larger the temperature ranger between high and low temp the quicker it'll go through the scent. We will generally use them over mock scraps but have also had success putting them over actual scrapes. Each dripper we use has a trailcam on them to monitor the activity. We haven't though been able to distinguish any difference between the Active-scrape scent and the Golden Scrape so I always grab whatever is cheaper at the time. Please note that these wont make deer appear from thin air, you have to be using them in an area with an existing deer population.

This actually works

I hung one of these out about 100 yards from the edge of a bucks core area and had the buck move into my area and make 3 competing scrapes on the first day. This works as long as you consider local deer movement and wind patterns. The next day the temperature dropped to 10 degrees and it snowed. I had doubts that it would work in such cold weather but at mid day it was dripping as advertised.

I hung one of these over a scrape and got a camera on it. A couple young bucks and a good buck, and a couple does. Then, out of nowhere a doe come up and smelled the Bottle and bolted, then the good buck did the same thing.

As advertised.

Well sealed pack, but the bottle cap was a liiiitle bit loose, though no spill was observed. Gave a bit of smell although, but normal I guess. Expiration date on the bottle is march 2026, which positively surprised me. Really good price for the package. We'll now have to see how it works!
