Love it. Im a popcorn addict and its easy to use. Only complaint is that the clear plastic cover/lid doesn't stay on tight. Constantly falls off.

Dries the popped corn out.. almost to tasting "stale" Better brands ($) of corn pop moister.

Not too bad for a quick bowl of popcorn, but "value priced" corn comes out tasting drier/staler (probably why they're cheaper). Higher quality corn ($) pop pretty good with better taste. Swirling air action tends to blow some un-popped kernels out of the popper. Butter melter/dripper works... but it's still better butter coverage when melted separately and poured over the corn in the bowl. Unit's easy to clean up when finished.

Messy

I have three different brands of air poppers. So, I can compare. This one has holes around the clear hood. The idea is good because it is less likely to overheat. However, it blows a lot of hulls and popcorn particles all over the counter. It pops less quantity than my other two poppers. The butter tray is very difficult to use as a measuring scoop due to the wings or ledge around the scoop. I use my own measuring scoop. The popcorn tastes good, but I am already going back to my older popper. I cannot recommend this popper.

Best popcorn maker!

I had an old air popper from this brand for years and recently it died on me so I had to get a new one. At first I tried the brand Dash since I found it in a physical store and their popper was terrible, the opening was far too big so the popcorn seeds would fly everywhere. Luckily I was able to find this west bend one on Amazon this one is even better than my old version because the popcorn doesn’t get stuck it all falls out into the bowl perfectly. I love air popped popcorn and I even converted my mom who would only make it on the stove with oil, now she loves air popped better too.

Works well

Nice popcorn maker. Only thing I don't like is the scoop/butter tray is a little bulky and tricky to use without making a mess.

Horrible design but good value.

Bought it for 20 bucks and it pops the popcorn just fine so can’t really complain however… A toddler couldn’t design something this poorly! The shoot where the popcorn is supposed to come out… Most units like this have a slide to direct it into the bowl but this design just has it fall directly down which means it doesn’t go in the bowl a lot of it just shoots out the sides. Why would someone designed this?? The butter dish doesn’t really have a direct way to pour it out over the popcorn. It’s all so mind-boggling. Already absolute horrible design. But I probably won’t return it because the popcorn pops well and it’s much cheaper than any other option

Was fine then died after only 3 uses

Stopped working after 3 times

I liked the fluffy popcorn it produced the 1st 3 times but on the 4th time it stopped popping the kernels and the few that did pop were not being blown out of the shute. Then I could smell it burning so I stopped it and am afraid to use it again. I tried to send it back to Amazon but 30 days had gone by. Terrible that a product cannot last more than 3 times useage and then not to be able to return for a new one or refund.
