Sturdy

Less expensive than other brands, but gets the job done. Has taken quite the beating and still holds up. The surface shows little wear after beingbin the water for a few days a week for several months.

Great purchase!

This is the same ball I found in local department stores. It was about $14 cheaper here on Amazon for the same exact product so I opted for buying it online versus in person. The ball is perfect, exactly how it’s described. It has fantastic grip also.

Great grip and size

Bought this ball for a high school swim team off-season practices for occasional water polo drills/games. Grip: The ball has a very strong grip that makes it easy to catch, even when wet. Been used for a couple weeks and haven't noticed any deterioration so far. Color: It's very bright yellow, which is slightly glaring but overall helps since it allows you to see it from across the pool. Air: Slightly deflated when it arrived but was easily refilled with a hand pump and hasn't needed to be refilled again yet (about three weeks so far). Size: I don't have much knowledge on water polo ball sizes but this compared to other balls the team had. Worked perfectly for both male and female high schoolers (ages 14-18). Price: Seemed about right for the quality. Not too expensive and seems to be worth it for the price. Summary: Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a good water polo ball.

Fun to have along on vacation

We took it on vacation with us last week. The kids had a great time throwing it around both in the pool and in the Gulf of Mexico. Regarding the size, my daughter, who plays high school water polo said it was big, and my son, who pays in a U14 boys league, said it was what he was used to playing with. The ball has a surface that is, as you would expect, easy to grip when wet. I deflated the ball before packing it, then inflated it when we arrived using a needle valve I had brought and a bike pump which was at the house at which we stayed. The ball easily deflated into a bowl shape and was easy to pump back up again. I was glad that I brought it along. After playing catch with this ball, I have a new appreciation of the difficulty of water polo.

Water Polo Ball

Grandson, a captive resident in former state of California is allowed to use this in a pool of chlorinated water as long as no one else touches it.

The best ball I've used

I started playing waterpolo a few month ago at the YMCA and wanted to practice between games. There's big difference in grip with a brand new ball. There's a reason they're the game standard.
